We got this to practice freehand inking as opposed to using a stencil (which we do but figure that the better we get at freehand the better we'll be at stencil work).This feels like a real person, most of the time. It doesn't feel like an ankle or backhand. But it does feel, and react, a lot like skin and muscle for areas like the biceps, hips, thighs, glutes, etc.They recommend wrapping it on the part of the body for which you're practicing and that's a good idea when possible, so you can feel the difference on curved areas and straightaways.It's not a real human, but when you've finished covering every part of your own body, and there's nobody around to accept your offer of a free tattoo, this works tremendously well. This tattoo skin is a perfect learning tool. It will allow you to practice before trying on your first guinea pig.This skin comes individually wrapped. This skin is thinner so it will allow you to learn easily. You can learn if your hand is to heavy. If you go all the way through. This skin will allow you to be able to practice so you can get your technique down. The texture of this skin is smooth and does stretch.

I like that these came individually wrapped. Makes it super easy for storage. They feel like the real deal and work great with my tattoo gun. Makes it easy to practice and maneuver around. Feels and acts like real skin great quality lasts a while and can reuse both sides for practice! These have really helped me practice my craft.

I am just starting out and was a little worried these would be too thin and let me tell you they aren't. These come individually wrapped so no worry about not keeping them clean. I do wish that the ink would wipe off better, not the injected image but the non-deposited ink.

This is a good quality piece of tattoo skin for practicing on. Flip it over and you can use the other side. I like the fact that it’s pliable and soft like human skin exactly the way that it should be when practicing

I'm not a professional yet but I think that these sheets are the best to practice on! They give you a real skin feel so that you can learn pressure techniques amongst other skills needed to perfect the craft.
