Good deal for the price!
Seems to be built well. Item needed to be assembled, but directions were pitiful. Just getting into this field, I assembled it as determined from the supplied direction only to find out that the radials were in the wrong spots. Had to take antenna down, disassemble it, and then put it back up. I also switched out the coax to a better grade after finding out that the coax supplied with the antenna is the lowest grade.

Might be very overpriced
It's nice and sets up easily. I'm still hoping I will get better results as I make some changes. I am not convinced the cable it came with is the best choice. I purchased a little magnetic car antenna at the same time. It was super cheap. I use it indoors when not using the outdoor cone antenna. Anyway so far that $8 antenna has performed as well as the expensive discone. I really hope that changes, but so far I have no reason for recommending it. I would say definitely consider a small inexpensive antenna that has the bandwidth reception ratings you want.
