This works best with more subtle make up looks than bold as powder will always absorb the excess placed to create a brighter bolder look and the white tone will again diminish the brightness. After applying I found it smoothed out any make up that wouldn't blend too well beforehand, therefore giving a better quality of finish to the make up aswell.
