At least there was some progress this year
For ref: 5’4” 120lbs with hips. I’ve been through about 4-5 months with these briefs now and am so glad I finally spent the cash on them. I fall on the heavy end of the flow spectrum and have relied on pads, despite their terrible diaper quality, for the level of protection I need. I thought I would try these for my lighter days to see how they held up, and they have met the challenge. In fact, I can do a 9-5 on DAY ONE in them (changing right after work). The material is soft and stretchy, the band doesn’t pinch, and they breathe. While they don’t pull down moisture/clots as fast as a maxi they do seem to keep me drier overall - especially nice in hot weather. I haven’t experienced any leaks with the full coverage design (and I am bottom heavy) as they just get a little damp feeling when it’s time to switch. They haven’t messed up any of my other laundry (I rinse them just after use and wash laundry on cold or warm) and they still feel fresh. It’s a little weird getting used to “free bleeding” at first, but after a couple months it seems way more normal than any other contraption - plus it’s really nice not to have to shop for/store disposable products. Freedom!!!

Size up! Size 10 pants = 3XL in these!
I normally wear a L in panties and a 10 in pants. I ordered these in XL because reviews said they run small. The XL was too tight in the waist band and leg holes. I returned them and read a bunch more reviews before reordering. I ended up buying the high-waist style by this brand in a 3XL, after someone else’s review said they tried XL and 2XL, then finally the 3XL worked! The 3XL’s are serious granny panties, but they are actually comfortable! So far I’ve only washed and air-dried them and fair warning... they took an entire 36 hours to dry! Looking forward to finally trying them out on my next cycle! :)

Waaaaay too small. Unless you like muffin tops.
So far so good in terms of absorbency, but I bought one in my normal size (medium) and one in a size up since everyone said they run small. I'm 150lbs and 5'6. The large pair barely fit and are so tight they're irritating my skin on my inner thigh. I'm bummed out that these weren't everything I'd hoped for since my period is very light and I wanted a more comfortable alternative to shoving things inside me. Womp-womp. I thought about buying an XL, but they're a bit thick and awkward for my liking, so I'll be shopping around. The picture shows the two sizes in comparison. With how little difference there is, maybe I should have bought an XXL...

Where have these been all my life?
Ye gods, I wish I had these in middle school, high school, college, post-partum, etc etc. They are affordable compared to other period underwear, and work for me even overnight! I have very heavy periods--like, horribly heavy--and I got so sick of paying through my nose for tampons every year, not to mention running to the bathroom all day/night to swap out my extra-heavy flow plugs. Now, I have 6 of these, change them every 8 - 12 hours, and don't use anything else. I no longer dread my period, and feel kind of smug knowing I finally have a way to manage my flow that I REALLY LIKE.I feel cute in these comfy things, did I mention? They were a bit tight the first time I wore them, but they seem to have molded to my (admittedly slightly fat) butt, and they are a total dream to wear now. I think it's advisable to go for a slightly snug fit to avoid gaps/leaking, really, so when I bought my second pack, I didn't size up.I'm going to wear these until they wear out, then grab another 6 and carry on. Thank you, Bambody! You solved my period problems.
