With a 3.5 inch capacity and 2.75 inch hole centers, this 100-piece set offers durable, easy-to-use organization solutions ideal for office professionals and event managers seeking neat, reliable document binding. ## Description Olympx paper fastener compressor bars are the sliding top piece that locks onto two-prong folder bases to keep documents compressed and secure inside classification folders, medical charts, and personnel files. Each bar features coined edges that are smooth to the touch, so there is no risk of nicked fingers or snagged pages during routine filing.Because these compressors are reusable, they suit offices that update case files or project folders on a recurring schedule. Slide the bar off, add or remove pages, and slide it back on in seconds. The quick-release channel makes them a practical choice for paper fasteners for crafts projects as well, where cardstock, fabric swatches, or sample boards need to be bound temporarily and repositioned without damage. Each compressor bar measures 2.75 inches between hole centers, is stamped from heavy-gauge plated alloy steel, and adjusts to hold document stacks from a single sheet up to 3.5 inches thick. The silver-tone finish is comparable in appearance to brass paper fasteners hardware while offering the rigidity of tempered steel. The box contains 100 individual bars; prong bases are not included and must be sourced separately. These bars are manufactured in the United States from corrosion-resistant plated steel and are built to maintain a smooth sliding action through years of daily handling. The tempered finish resists warping and spring-back, so the compressor sits flat against the stack every time it is closed. If a current set of folder compressors has worn out or gone missing, this box provides a direct replacement without the need to rebuy complete fastener sets. ## Features - COMPRESSOR BARS ONLY, PRONGS SOLD SEPARATELY: Each bar slides onto standard two prong folders and classification folder bases you already own. This is the replacement part, not a complete set, so confirm you have the bases before ordering. - DOCUMENTS STAY FLAT AND ORGANIZED: The sliding compression mechanism holds pages tight against the base so nothing shifts or fans out. Works as a double prong clip replacement on any standard 2 hole binder fastener. - HEAVY-GAUGE PLATED CONSTRUCTION: Each bar is stamped from thick, plated alloy with a tempered finish that resists bending even after repeated use. The sliding channel stays smooth through hundreds of open-and-close cycles. - STANDARD 2 3/4 INCH CENTERS FIT MOST FOLDERS: The hole spacing matches virtually every two-hole filing system and classification folder on the market. Each compressor adjusts to hold document stacks from a few sheets up to 3.5 inches thick. - 100 BARS IN EVERY BOX: One purchase covers a full filing cabinet refresh or a large office restock. Each silver-tone bar is individually formed and ready to use straight from the box. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08JWK6T8S | | Best Sellers Rank | #36,086 in Arts, Crafts & Sewing ( See Top 100 in Arts, Crafts & Sewing ) #237 in Paper Punches | | Brand Name | Olympx | | Color | Silver Tone | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (270) | | Fastener Capacity | 3.5 Inches | | Item Dimensions L x W | 3.5"L x 3.5"W | | Manufacturer | Olympx | | Material Type | Alloy Steel | | Number of Pieces | 100 | | Product Style | Modern | | Size | 3.5 Inches | | UPC | 662921008130 | | Unit Count | 100 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Olympx - **Color:** Silver Tone - **Material:** Alloy Steel - **Product Dimensions:** 3.5"L x 3.5"W - **Size:** 3.5 Inches ## Images ![Prong Paper Fastener Compressors 100 Pack, Steel, Made in USA, 2.75 Inch - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71yDgpdOCFL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.jp/products/306246848-prong-paper-fastener-compressors-100-pack-steel-made-in-usa](https://www.desertcart.jp/products/306246848-prong-paper-fastener-compressors-100-pack-steel-made-in-usa) --- *Product available on Desertcart Japan* *Store origin: JP* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
