I bought the dark purple leotard for my daughter last year when she was eight. It didn't get used all that much since dance classes have been canceled since the spring, but it's decent quality and soft and should be fine for frequent wear. We just pulled it out and the size 6/7 (140) still fits comfortably. She's newly nine and thin (22 inch waist) but on the taller side (almost 54 inches). If I were buying it this year I would probably go up a size, but this size still has room to grow. She still fits size 7 clothes, so I would say that it runs fairly true to size. I love the deep purple color, the attached skirt, and the lovely criss-cross straps.
