In a new installment of things Papa's wife buys me to earn my love while also getting her own fur-daughter a matching set. Today's episode: Matching scooter goggles. I get it Papa's wife wants to be able to take us riding on the scooter. She has currently been outfitting it with different aftermarket add-ons. These where one of those needs but not needs, but definitely need if she is going to take us with her. To the review: I think they are super soft and very comfortable to wear while going 25mph on a scooter. They seem super durable as I felt no air on my little toy Yorkie eyes. They were super easy for Papa's wife to adjust to my small toy Yorkie framed head, and the appearance was to die for, no seriously, I got 35 I just love your dog and her goggles comments while on our commute to her office. I don't know what she paid but based on the adoration I got in these I say they were a great value for whatever she paid. - Rey Papa's Wife's girl dog review: Hi I'm bitsy and I loved the googles, I just wished they matched my backpack. But mom will just have to buy me a new matching backpack, which she loves to do. The fit was perfect, and adjustable enough that my growing fur isn't mashed badly to mats or pulling on my tiny frame. They were super comfortable when I tried them on. I haven't tried them on a ride yet but I love to wear even if not riding they are super-cute and my total vibe. I do know what she paid and ultimately she would had paid more if needed but was glad they were at the reasonable price since she was able to get 2 for the price of one. It was a steal for her. Now for her to get me a matching helmet.

These are the cutest and fit perfectly. Could not have asked for better.

My dog is a 19 year old chihuahua and she has a cataract in her 1 eye and the sun really bothers her. I thought I would try these for her. They helped her except she tries to rip them off by rubbing her head in the grass. These are a great idea and are adorable!

Cutest accessory yet, however the straps did not keep them in place on her tiny face so I think they are just a bit too big/wide. I was hoping they would protect her from the sun and blowing sand at the beach. I guess we’ll try a hat instead.

Oh my goodness, these quality goggles were such a gift for my little girl who suffered from "daytime blindness" for the last few years of her life - a painful condition some dogs experience when outdoors in the sunshine. I finally figured out what the problem was when her doctor kept misdiagnosing her with so-called possible ear infections -- which couldn't have been farther from the reality. Anyway, I figured out what was actually going on. And while not purchased with the intention of being a fashion statement, these goggles certainly complemented her ensembles. ;) They are super easy to adjust and use, fit her well, stayed on, and the cushioning around the portion of the frame that touches her faces is soft and comfortable. The depth from lens to eye is fairly deep so as not to irritate the lashes. (NOTE: Many dogs won't be excited about having to wear glasses and my girl was no different though she always let me put them on. Initially I would put them on before we went out but she wasn't thrilled about wearing them. Occasionally, she'd try to rub them off. So I tried taking her out without them on and when she was in the sun, she was most willing to let me put them on her - basically she made the association that wearing the glasses meant she could be in the sunshine without pain.) The fact that she could enjoy the outdoors again made my heart sing. All sorts of wins with this purchase - best money I spent in a long time.

Purr. 😻 I mean, the pictures tell the story. These goggles are not only super, super adorably cute, but I definitely feel they will do an excellent job of protecting my babies’ eyes when the hubs and I go out for e-scooters strolls 🛴. The leopard 🐆 print is the obvious attention-grabber and the amount of shade the lenses give is good (yes, I looked through them and into the 🌞). Clearly the adjustability of these goggles are super helpful, but prior to buying, I still wasn’t sure if they’d fit… and you may be thinking the same thing. Our pups’ faces are really tiny, so I’m sure this part of my review will help some of you whose dog’s faces are slender, as well. Here is the Yorkie’s measurement, for reference, as you measure your dog (the Chihuahua’s measurements are extremely close to these, as well): • left side of face to right side of face over the eyes: 3.75” • circumference around eyes to back of head: 11” • where chin meets neck to bottom of ears: 6” Goggle measurements: • edge to edge of the EXTERIOR lens+frame: 4” • edge to edge of the INTERIOR lens+frame: 4 1/8 • each heart-shaped lens + frame: 1 7/8” • rounded top of heart-shape to pointed bottom: 1 5/8” • bridge/space between heart-shapes: 3 /8” BTW- there’s a curve to the goggles to fit a bit more flush to the face, which is very helpful for an even more snug fit (see last pic). Yes, I highly recommend these goggles! 🥽

I've been riding dogs on my motorcycles for many years, and a simple set of goggles like this helps. I was skeptical about this cheaper brand, but gave them a try and they worked OK for my small Pomeranian. The quality of the frame and rubber cushion appears good, and they fit him very well. The lenses are on the dark side, so he wasn't as comfortable with that. A lighter lens that is guaranteed to protect against UV would be helpful. Also, the strap material was a little too wide. With only one side of the chin strap secured to the head band, it was more difficult keeping them on his head, when he would shake. I will eventually stitch the loose end of the chin strap to the head band to help keep it in place. Another odd thing is the unusual eye shape of these, with a little upturn on the outside edges. It's not really stylish or cool looking, but it's not a deal breaker either. One great thing about these are the price. These are far cheaper than a leading dog goggle brand and the material quality appears to be approximately equal. Overall these aren't bad and definitely worth the price... I recommend you try them for your dog and see if they work for you. For us, they're mostly working.

I was worried when I bought these because I had such a hard time finding sunglasses for small dogs. My dog is a mix chihuahua/jack russell so it also isn't always as easy as finding something that fits one or the other: luckily, these ones on the smallest setting are great! They stay on well and really help her to look around when it's sunny out (she's older and her eyesight isn't the best, so she tends to look directly at light when she shouldn't, especially on sunny days). She generally doesn't like having things on her head/face, but these have been easy to train her into as they have a soft padding that keeps the glasses part away from her eyes, and a snug fit.
