Noodle are a family tradition at our house. My grandmother taught me the craft but she did not have one of these dryers and there were noodles hanging everywhere while they dried. I find this hanger is a great improvement and probably more sanitary than the on a hanger hanging from the cupboard drying technique. This is plastic but seems durable. I love the noodle pick me up that comes with it that allows me grab and hang several noodles at a time. It works well and not only does it keep things cleaner and saves room, it also easy to clean and store. I like this and I recommend for the family noodle maker.

I bought this rack because I started making more pasta at a time and my Marcato rack no longer provided enough capacity. This rack is a cheap imitation of the Marcato - the wand is flimsier, the top knob is not securely fastened to the main post, and the legs are a bit trickier to collapse for storage. Nevertheless, none of this impairs the rack's functionality for my purposes, which is simply to conveniently and compactly hold fresh pasta for drying.

You have to love pasta to buy this works great. Would buy again.

great item. I am able to make several batches of noodles and have the room to let them dry without taking up all of the table space.
