real mechanism easily broken and would consider looking at other items
As a professional magician of many years I have quite a bit of experience using "Invisible Thread."And I'm aware of the reputation of this particular utility item. And generally has good reviews. I have to say, after pulling the thread out and letting it retract one time, the entire gearing mechanism stopped working, the thread broke and it was just defective right out of the box.
