Awesome product!
I got these to help my 4 year old develop better balance. It has worked great for her- but it's also worked great for the entire family! The blocks are actually incredibly strong. As a 200+ lb adult, I can walk on them just fine- so can everyone in the family. And even though they are just 3 inches above the ground- it makes everyone work on their balance. They are sort of large- they stack up, which helps a lot- but they do feel like something meant more for a pre-school or daycare than for a single family- they'll probably last forever and will never break- but they work find for my family. Each block is also connected by a rope. You can remove the rope if you want, but I find it's very useful in keeping everything together. The only issue that I had is that if used on hard wood floors, the blocks feel like they can slip a little- they feel very secure on the carpet. So for the manufacturer, adding a rubber bottom or the option for a rubber bottom might make it better for people who use them on tiled or hard floors.

Lots of fun and helps get pent up energy out when cooped ...
Lots of fun and helps get pent up energy out when cooped up in the house. The length of rope is just right to adjust distance between the logs depending on age, height and skill. Some may find the rope limiting but I appreciate it so that they stay together and don't end up in every room of the house. My kids have played Going On A Bear Hunt, Three Speckled Frogs and many other games with these logs. Sometimes, just walking around in a circle to help focus before homework or when having a family discussion. They're pretty sturdy as my husband has walked on these with heavy boots. We have tile in our house and I do find they can be slippery on the tile if the kids are jumping and skipping on them. I prefer to have them on carpet.Great price for endless creative and active play!

Highly recommend!!!!
I bought these for my 5 year old son after he got upset with us for removing a log from the yard that he had been using for a balance beam. He was happy with these as a replacement. They are sturdy enough that an adult (*cough* *cough* me) can play on them but are still very lightweight. I have left them outside since August (it's now November) and they are still in great condition. No fading, cracking or any other signs of weather damage. The kids have a great time rearranging them into different shapes to walk across or jump over. They stack on top of each other which makes it easy to store them in a small place. These would be great for anyone looking for physical activities for their kids to do in small spaces. I have used them on laminate flooring, linoleum tiles, carpet, grass and a wooden deck with no trouble with slipping or flipping that I saw mentioned in other reviews. We loved them so much that I encouraged our local library to get some. They bought 2 sets and they are a big hit with the kids and parents.

Great for working on balance but slip a little
I teach Adaptive Physical Education to students with special needs. We work on balance using a large variety of equipment. Being a traveling teacher, I really like the ability to stack each of the segments inside each other to make them easy to transport. The rope segments in between allow you to make balance more or less challenging by creating different pathways. Each of the segments have rubberized traction on the bottom, however we have found during class, that they do tend to slide a little bit on the tiled gymnasium floor.

Very sturdy
I was a bit hesitant to order this, I saw others with more color options and similar reviews but I went with this. I just wanted something sturdy, vibrant and adjustable in length and this delivered. The colors are vibrant, the rope in between each is adjustable even my kids can make it longer or shorter which is great, they can use them inside or outside and i love that they stack up on top of each other to store when not using. We are very happy with these.

Best toy ever
This is probably the best toy ever, for kids of all ages. I bought this for my daughters as a Christmas gift and they get used every single day, all their friends also love to play with them.Durable enough that my 200+ pound husband can step on them with no fear of them breaking. The fact that they stack is just an amazing added bonus.

MUST-BUY for Young Kids!
I have a 3yo and 7yo and they both love playing with these. We removed the ropes so my kids can place the pieces in any configuration -- as far apart as they want. This allows both of them to design courses that test the very limits of their ability. I wish I had gotten these years ago when my first child was 3yo. Instead, I had purchased a kids balance beam, but this is WAY better than a balance beam. If you line them straight up, you get a "balance beam" that's 10 feet long, but they nestle into each other so that you can store them in tiny footprint. But, unlike a balance beam, you can place the pieces in all sorts of crazy angles, make certain ones just for hands or just for feet, etc. The one thing to keep in mind, we use these on a floor covered with foam tiles and they're pretty good about not sliding around. But, if you used them on bare wood, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't stay put.
