Review: Excellent paints from a respected company - This is my review of Winsor & Newton Cotman’s Watercolor Paint Set Winsor & Newton are a standard in the industry for quality and consistency in their products, and I have been using them for many years. Their paints go from inexpensive to pricey. If I were to rate this set from 1 – 10, with 1 being their cheapest (and least quality) paint to 10, being their absolute best, I would place this set around a 4 or 5. That means these paints are great for the beginner, who desire a low-cost alternative, yet will still demand excellent results on the paper. Then, as you hone your craft, you can move up to more expensive paints. These paints have a smooth quality, and are well mixed when coming out of the tube. Three of the twenty had a bit of air in them, and when opened pushed out some paint, but not much. The colors are vibrant, and the mix of colors give you a nice variety that are suitable for any watercolor you choose to create. I use them by putting them into half pans and allowing them to dry. I can then take the with me on an outdoor painting excursion, and reactivating them with a bit of water. But whether you use them straight from the tube, or dry them like I do, I am confident that you will like the results you get.
Review: A lot of great color options, seems like a good quality - This is a good product, especially for the price. My kids had so much fun mixing new colors and creating their own piece of art! This is the first one using this type of watercolor. It seemed thick and easy to use. We like all of the color options and the ability to mix them.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: What is meant by 12 count? 12 of what?**
A: I have searched for the answer to your question. There are 20 tubes. Not sure where the number 12 came from.

**Q: Do you know if they are "Artist" grade or student grade?**
A: The Cotman line from Winsor/Newton is student grade. Professional grade watercolors do not use the word "Hue" in their color description, which indicates they're not made from true pigments.

**Q: Good morning, I would like you to send the order again, with a new package, as soon as possible, instead of the refund. thank you.**
A: I dont think I can help with this lol

**Q: Does a pallet tray come with this set?**
A: Yes removable as well.
