Does this black have a gloss, semi-gloss, or matte finish?

The XF-85 is a rubber black. It is the color of tire rubber, so a flat finish. The "F" in all Tamiya paint colors indicates its a flat color.

Doe,s it come in a spray ?

I have not seen Tamiya XF-85 Rubber Black in anything other than a 10ml bottle. I've reviewed a couple of my favorite on-line hobby stores and nothing in spray for this color. I've even checked on-line and the 10ml bottle is all that returns. I've used several bottles of this on my 1/35th scale military models and it works and looks great (better than the flat black I used to paint for tires, etc.). Hope this helps ya.

Does this product simulate the look of real rubber? As in painting model hoses to resemble rubber

Kinda sorta. It has a look of new rubber so it's not flat black, perhaps a little blue black? It's still more realistic that just using flat black.
