I read a couple of the other reviews and I just wanted to point out a couple of things: I use the standard Google charger and it fits in my phone fine and charges well and there's no overheating. The case is amazing for waterproof needs I perform the test and even had my phone in the shower and nothing leaked. I've dropped my phone and it bounces so the case itself is very sturdy. However, here is the extreme downfall. For someone like me who uses my phone a lot for work and even more for family and friends, the fact that I cannot talk on my phone without having it on speaker or wearing headphones is annoying. People on the receiving end of my phone call complain that they cannot hear me if my phone is not on speakerphone they said that I sound muffled. But I did not have them on speakerphone it seems like they are miles away. After further inspection of the case this is because there is a plastic cover over both the mic and the headphone holes. This case is not one of the most expensive cases however, it's costly enough to where you would want to be able to use it while talking on the phone. If it wouldn't be for the phone speaker and mic issues, it would've received a 5. If you are not a big talker on the phone then this should not bother you and you can rest assured that this case can fit all of your sturdy needs.

I was super excited to receive this case and thought it would be perfect for the level of protection I need for my phone, that is until I realized I can't plug my phone in with the case on (yes, I removed the little stopper from the port before trying to plug my charger in. It didn't fit)! I thought I was going crazy until I searched through the reviews and saw someone else had the same problem. I have a universal USB-C to USB-C charger that worked perfectly fine with my last case so I have no idea what the issue is with this one and how more people aren't experiencing it.Besides that the case seems fine, although I did experience difficulty being heard while on the phone and it is very prone to smudges and finger prints. All that being said, I'll definitely be returning since I can't charge my phone with the case on. Super frustrating.

I followed the instructions and put a piece of paper in it, put a weight on it and submerged for 15mins. afterwards the paper was totally dry. My phone was left out in the rain all night long and it was perfectly fine the next day. I have dropped this phone multiple times the thick corners padded it nicely.It does everything it promises!Now someone said something about charger not working? I charge mine every night no problem. Factory google charger fits like a charm + no overheating either!

I did do the test. And it worked perfectly. None of the inside was wet at all. The case is completely waterproof for 30 minutes under 4 inches of water...Then I tried using it in real life water. It supposedly "supports taking photos and videos underwater, swimming or surfing." So I took it snorkeling, with all ports well sealed, and kept it above the water or less than 1 foot under (specs say max 2 meters). Worked fine for the first 20 minutes. Then my phone started glitching. By the time I swam back to the beach, the phone had stopped working all together. 3 days in dried oats finally revived the phone except it could never receive data again...And then I had to get a new phone.Another major downside, though not one that killed my phone, is that the front case easily scratches. At first I thought there was sand on it, but when I went to wipe it off, I realized that the sand blowing while we strolled on the beach had nicked the front screen cover in a hundred places!So in summary, garbage product.

So I like the case and really wanted to love the case but unfortunately that's not going to happen. No matter how much I clean the case, the case stays dirty. It is always smudging no matter what I used to wipe it with whether it be microfiber cloths, alcohol pads, or just plain soap and water. It just won't stay clean. I have dropped the phone a few times and it's definitely sturdy enough to keep anything from happening to it but that sturdiness is a double-edged sword. It is so completely sealed that I have to take the phone out of the case in order to have proper phone conversations. Anyone who I talk to thinks that I am speaking underwater. I also have trouble hearing people through the phone as well. The fingerprint scanner works fine thankfully. However, if you're someone who was intending on using the strap that comes with the case, don't rely on it too much because as I was coming into the house today it snapped randomly. Thankfully the rugged enough case was enough to keep the phone safe when it hit the concrete. I haven't tested its waterproofness yet but because I can't have proper conversations with it on, I'm going to be looking for something else.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  So far so good. Case fits well, and seems to be good snug protection. Bought for my vacation coming up, we'll see how it holds up. It is however sand proof, went to the beach, sand was everywhere but didn't get inside the case. Does not come with cardholder, I bought that separately.

I gave this product 4 stars because it's a solid phone cover and is very protective, however no one can hear me on the phone even if I open the charger cover to talk like the directions suggest. I have to put the phone on speaker and speak directly into the mouth piece or connect it to my Bluetooth in my car and just make phone calls from there. That's the only annoyance with this cover which doesn't bother me much since I don't chat on the phone much

Wow, I wish I had listened to myself when I decided to go with this cover, I knew it was a bit of a chance. This unbranded mobile phone case just delivered and i opened it to find it was not suitable for a Google Pixel 4a 5G, due to the lack of a suitable camera port on the back cover. It states on the front of the box that the case is for an iPhone X/XS and someone has stuck a sticker on the back of the box stating it was for Pixel 4a 5G. Now i have to go through all the trouble and expense of sending it back to the US in the hopes of a refund and I have to pay for the postage. In which they may refund up to £20 of my costs. In one word, avoid!
