I have it in my kitchen for my coffee set up. I love it!

Expensive but beautiful..

The Pimpernel Strawberry Thief Blue Sandwich tray is the perfect size for a snack or a couple of sandwiches, but I bought it to protect a wooden nightstand when placing wet glasses or hot cups on top. It is well made and attractive but the colors are not quite how they appear on the provided photo, which unfortunately does not zoom in for a closer view when clicked on. (There is also a completely wrong thumbnail image that keeps popping up of a dish.) I thought the colors would be deeper than they actually are, since the image is so small. Instead of rich red strawberries, they are a muted dark rose color with peach colored seeds. The birds are off white with light sage green and blue wings and a sort of peachy tinge to their breast feathers that match some of the flowers and intertwining scrolls. The background is a dark navy and the lighter blue is actually quite bright as opposed to a muted, soft blue. I was really excited when I saw it online and was planning to get a larger one too; although I like it, now that I have seen it I won't be getting any more in this pattern. It's really a judgement call as to whether it suits your tastes; in any case it is quite functional.
