I’m so grateful they put one on me to remind me of these!! The one from the hospital was a 4 panel, and although it had a padded front which felt nice, I needed something smaller. I’m 5’4”, 125 lbs, and I have a short abdomen. I saw the price and reviews on this one and purchased the 3 panel, 12” one as it was a good value comparable to others that were more expensive but basically the same thing. I got it overnight. I am very pleased with the comfort, and in relief because of the support this binder provides! I was not sure if I would wear it all the time, but after reading some reviews online of women saying they only took theirs off to shower: I figured I’d try wearing it all day, and- I get it now, I don’t want to take mine off! I notice a big difference in pain levels and overall discomfort when I am, and when I am not wearing the binder: It is much more comfortable and I have less pain with the binder on, especially when sleeping. The fit is still a tiny bit big for me at 12”, but the 2 panel may be a bit too small, and I’d rather it be a little too long than not have enough support. It breathes well for a binder, I’m not expecting luxury feel from an abdominal binder, it’s meant to support and it does, and it’s honestly comfortable once you get used to it, kind of like wearing a bra. Putting it on by yourself is pretty easy, just takes some getting used to. Quality Velcro, and it’s machine washable. Going to pop it in the wash today when I take my first shower.
