It has to lift the water about 3’ plus. This pump does quite well moving the water up that high without any issue. It’s adjustable on water flow to keep water moving well without moving it too fast or too much. Just the right size, it’s quiet and certainly worth the value of the price paid. It comes with two sizes of outlets that are interchangeable and some hose.
