I was very disappointed with this product. Immediately after hooking the hose up to water I noticed several design flaws. It seemed like whoever put this together didn't care, or the quality control just didn't care. The "head" of the hose, the part that the water comes out of, isn't securely on the hose causing it to look crooked. It eventually snapped and sprung a leak after the phone was put away. There is also a "kink" or odd formation on part of the hose, causing water to not properly flow through the house. Since the water can't properly flow through the hose, when valve is open fully at the head it causes a loss of pressure and the entire hose shrinks! Not very happy with this product. I've attached pictures so you can see what I mean. I will absolutely be contacting Amazon for a refund! Spend the extra money and get a name brand one!

We have a home garden and I bought this hose to water my planters. At first we were very pleased with its performance. Then the hose exploded just below the nozzle after a month of use. We never left it on and there is no explanation for its failure. It caused an injury to my side when it exploded. I attached a pic. It is dangerous. Do not buy.

It seems a lot of us reviewers are on an endless journey in search of an expandable hose that won't explode with regular use. I was beginning to think this was some kind of Sisyphean exercise in humility--a fool's errand--when I stumbled upon this warrantied hose. I've had this product for about two months now, and it's still going strong. It seems to be built of sturdier stuff than the as-seen-on-tv "pocket hose" and other imitators. I especially like the metal fittings. I'm still pretty sure it will break at some point, but the seller claims to offer a lifetime warranty, and that gave me enough confidence to make the purchase.I'll update this review if and when it breaks and I need to avail myself of the warrant. But so far, so good.

Quality hose but extremely short. Nice brass couplings. Might barely stretch 25 feet if you pull really, really hard. The company stood behind their product tho and offered me a 50 ft hose for exchange free. Wow!

Update after a few months of use (Dec 2016) . It just burst open and failed as all the previous expandable hoses I have owned. After three tries (different brands and prices) I am done with these hoses, they break after only a few weeks/months, so the price/benefit is not worth it. I did not use this hose under higher pressure than normal water from the tap nor I abused it in any way. It failed in the first three feet closer to the tap.This is a great hose,convenient, as these are supposed to be and yet sturdy. I owned a couple of similar hoses and they burst after a short time, but this is good so far. Fittings are solid as well.

I bought an inexpensive expandable hose at Walmart, and I took it back the same day. I was not satisfied at all. But I liked the idea of a hose that I could easily manage and store easily. I read dozens of reviews of expandable hoses at amazon.com, and I decided to try the Durark 25 foot Heavy Duty Expandable Hose. When it arrived it was obvious that it was a high quality product. The fittings are solid brass and very strong. I tried it out and it worked exactly as you would expect a high quality expandable hose to work. BTW, my pool guy used the hose to fill my hot tub, and he liked the hose so much that he wanted all the details so he could buy one to carry with him on the job :)

I'm using these hoses in greenhouse for watering transplants. Space is premium in the greenhouse this time of year so these hoses take up a lot less than regular hoses. They arrived promptly and appear to be well made and durable.The hoses are 25' long when water is first turned on but do shrink back to about 20' when using the water so if sufficient length is important for you order the 50'. They are so small and lightweight the extra length won't really get in the way at all.Seller has been excellent and prompt in all communications which is very impressive.

5 stars is not only because of the quality of the product, also the company service. our 1st one was broken when we received, but we though it looked like a good quality hose, so we gave it another try by ordering 2nd one. I wrote a feed back on company's review. Within 12 hours i got an reply from this company to apologize and refund us for two orders. I could not believe this kind of service is still existing today. The 2nd hose works great no leaking, fits very tight. I highly recommend the product and company.
