Narrow and small for what I wanted
I wanted this for decorating the space going up my staircase. So simple and I love it!

Did intended job well and was perfect for what I needed it for.
Only suggestion is to make the end rubber grips more textured to grip multiple surfaces better other than that great product and worth the value.

Works!
This rod fit the bill and is exactly what I was hoping for. You can’t see it, but it’s holding up the balance just fine, as pictured. It was easy to adjust and feels absolutely secure. Working great!

Lightweight curtains only
If you're trying to hang up any sort of not see-trough curtain, please get something sturdier. This one, while having a pretty good extension range, becomes flimsier and wobblier the more you extend it. The product description mentioned a fairly high weight limit, but I think that may have been a mistake in editing.

Solid little curtain rod
Solid curtain rod for smaller valances or curtains. Great tension and holds right. Super easy to use, light weight great price and looks darling

Too small
This product, in fact, does not fit in a 28” opening. It does not fit a 28 1/2” opening.The level of incompetence here is mind boggling

Just what I needed
Honestly took me a second to figure out how to use it but once I figured it out, it’s so much nicer than the typical spring loaded tension rod. And it feels more secure to me. It works great for a doorway curtain to help keep the AC in my 100+ year old house in the rooms I want. I might even buy more for my closet doorway or laundry room.
