I was very surprised by the outstanding packaging (little backpack for the book and super nice box) the book itself has a lot of really nice watercolor paper with deckled paper wich I love. It is a super nice book, definetly one of a kind, never seen one like it. Only downside is that it does not lay flat at all and the thing to close it with is a little long and annoying. But still. I love the design and fantastic value for moneyWill buy again.

Absolutely IN LOVE with this. It's beautifully made with great materials. I'm using it as a journal, and it makes it look so good.Funny story- my cat actually threw up on this book (partly on the cover and one of the pages). Was able to clean it easily, and you can't tell it even happened!Highly recommended!

Wanted this for a while but the cost put me off, got some vouchers as a gift so good opportunity - I am glad I did!The leather is soft and good quality. the paper is amazing and super thick, I do a lot of mixed media and it has been able to withstand water paint, gesso, scrap paper, more paints all on one sheet with no seep through. It isn’t for scratchers as if you erase enough the paper goes bitty and not good to paint over then.I am so in love with the quality and will defo buy again!

Got if for a friends birthday she absolutely loved it. It comes with its own little Rich sack for ease of carrying. Really lovely item

This art journal is beautiful, I am looking forward to painting and recoding my travels through water colour and acrylics, and to pass it on to my family for a keepsake. Really good value for money, love the leather cover and the key attached to the wrap around straps. Also love the black bag that comes with it for protection. Novelty factor alone is a joy too. Would recommend this product.

I purchased this scrapbook, because I was looking for something to use to have all my ancestry documents together, I've been looking a while now, it's perfect for my needs, love the storage box and bag it came in, I will now doubt be ordering another one in the not too distance future.

This leather watercolor journal is more beautiful than the pictures. It is perfect. It comes with a black, heavy cloth backpack that the journal fits perfectly into. And the presentation box is very nice. The leather is stunning, soft, luxurious and perfectly bound and sewn. It is an art piece in and of itself. Can't wait to start using it.

I bought this book as a scrapebook to use for my daughters graduation and adventures through Rhema Bible College. I wanted something unique and authentic. This book is absolutely beautiful and has given me more than what i asked for. It is so real and true to its style and im so excited to be able to fill it with my daughters life. She is going to be so blown away. The bag it fits in is no where cheap looking or feeling. And the box it comes in is also amazing. I am just totally in awe of it and it was so much and even more worth the money. It will become a gem to my daughter. I cant say how much i love it and how happy i am with my purchase. Its just unreal.

The presentation of this book is almost as good as the book itself, which is a very high bar to reach as the book is incredible!First of all it comes in a decorated thick cardboard box that I will be keeping for ever because it’s so sturdy and pretty. Then it comes inside a custom sized backpack, perfect for taking my journal out for some landscaping watercoloring… a backpack!!Then the book itself.The leather is gorgeous, the color rich and the workmanship impeccable. The paper inside is thicker than any watercolor paper I have ever played with, very very nice and textured, perfect for those of us who use a lot of water in our painting.Overall I am surprised, delighted, and in love with my new journal. I will definitely buy another one in every color they offer me because this book is just too good to pass up!

Presentation is everything and they have nailed it! The box is heavyweight, adorable, suitable for keeping out in the open. Then you open it and you don't find your journal, oh no..you find a canvas backpack with leather straps, you open THAT and find your journal. Its an absolute treasure. The paper is a nice thick stock, beautifully deckled edges. Its fairly obvious this is a "green" product as one can see trace remnants of fibers embedded in the paper, which I think just adds to the overall charm and authenticity of it. So great I bought two, waiting on the large size AND hoping for a nice travel size 5x5 or so...hint hint hintUpdate: Set it up for "failure" using cheapest brushes and student grade paints. The only thing I did to help the paper was rough it gently with a sponge. Took wet on wet watercolor technique very well. Since I cannot review the 10x8 seperately, ordered and received it and was so happy to see it also comes in the beautiful larger version of the box, with a larger backpack. Additionally I was gifted by a friend the vintage 4x6 journal-simply amazing! Beautfiul, buttery soft pages and a gorgeous leather binding with the key in the strap lock! Now I'm waiting on the largest size watercolor journal they offer, should be here in a few days!
