AT&T UVERSE USERS READ THIS!! Wireless Access Point (WAP) problem solved!!!
Okay for anyone who is an AT&T Uverse subscriber read this! I have to wireless Uverse receivers upstairs in my residence. The Uverse wireless access point, or more commonly referred to as the WAP, has to connect directly to the ethernet port of the the AT&T modem. I needed to move the WAP for the wireless Uverse receivers upstairs due to the wireless receivers CONSTANTLY loosing signal. FYI- The AT&T receivers only use the signal from the WAP and has NOTHING to do with the WIFI strength at the location of the receivers. Well I took a chance and purchase the Trendnet TPL-430AP with the hope of moving the WAP upstairs and plugging the WAP into the ethernet port of the Trendnet TPL-430AP. (Note: I had tried this before by moving the WAP upstairs and connecting into the ethernet port on an AT&T wireless extender. DID NOT WORK.) IT WORKS PERFECT. I have FULL signal on both of my Uverse wireless receivers. FINALLY!!! I have researched and tried to figure this out for a year. So short story long I purchased the item to use the powerline function. It did the job for what I needed it for! The setup was SIMPLE! I cloned my WIFI SSID with my AT&T router (BGW-210) and all is well with my WIFI signal as well. Hope this helps someone with the same problem and they don't have to research as much as I did to solve this AT&T Uverse wireless receiver problem.

Easy setup
I've been using the non-WIFI Trendnet for years and needed a WIFI to get the signal out on the deck for the TV. Works great. My regular router was ok but this gives me 5 bars and no delays.
