Addicted!!
This chalk is so good! I’m addicted! Comes in big chunks. Sometimes it cracks & there are smaller chunks & pieces but I don’t mind it. It makes it easier to eat. It was shipped in a brown paper bag inside the other bag. I had no idea why it was packaged like that. And initially it tasted weird because it was in the brown bag, but when I let it sit out for a couple hours the taste was so good! It doesn’t get super creamy as you chew it. When you first bite it is super crunchy, and as you eat it it stays crunchy. I like that. I don’t like when the chalk gets too creamy. I order every couple months when I get a really bad craving, and it satisfies the craving every single time.

Taste like real chalk or dirt, not worth the price for amount.
So the black package fools u. U think u getting allot. But I counted about 8 chunks. It taste horrible if ur a starch lover which I am. I love my starch chunks even make my own. But I know starch is very unhealthy. So I been looking for a healthier replacement. To bad they don't have like a pica party or tasting 😆. My next try will be the mountain 1. Read its supposed to be close to starch but we'll see. And then I'm a take it all the way back. And try grandma's white dirt. Because that's what started the whole pica thing. Too bad no 1 has made nothing like a healthy starch version. Or something that tasted like starch. But this stuff im going to have to mix it with my starch just to eat it cuz I'll be damned if I throw away 16.99 plus shipping for 8 chunks.

My favorite by far
I love this clay, it has all the things I’m looking for it’s crunchy. I love the crunchy sound it makes. The more I let it air out the more crunchy it gets. I love that it’s consistent. Each time I get the same clay and the same amount. It taste like clay that’s the taste I’m going for. My only critique is that you have to drink tons of water, apple cider vinegar and a teaspoon of caster oil at night or it makes you extremely constipated. Other than that I love it a bag lasts me usually 3 weeks to a month. I also smash it a little to let it last longer. Sometime I mix with with HITT toffee flavor. Hit is very soft and has very little crunch but I love the flavor. Hope this helps.

Unique and satisfying chalk — interesting treat for the curious
I tried the Chalkovsky edible chalk mostly out of curiosity, and I was pleasantly surprised. The chalk has a satisfying crunch and breaks apart cleanly without feeling overly gritty. As someone who appreciates more natural, mineral-forward flavors and textures, I found it strangely enjoyable. The taste is earthy and pure — definitely not sweet or “snack-like,” but it has a clean, raw quality that I didn’t mind. It seems best suited for someone who understands what they’re getting into and is open to a very nontraditional snack. It’s not something I’d snack on every day, but if you’re curious or into unusual textures, Chalkovsky is worth giving a try. I guess the value is worth it if aesthetic packaging is more important than weight/quantity. Hey, it's worth a try!

Perfect for pica anemia, taste not ideal
There wasn’t a lot that came in the bag for how much I paid for it, but it lasted me a good week. LOVE the crunch, but wasn’t so hard that it hurt to bite. It was nice and crunchy intially, but then it turned gummy… gummy and bubbly. Which isn’t IDEAL but again it is chalk so keep in mind it’s not gonna taste like berries and cream. I give it a overall 4/5the gumminess & sticking to my teeth lost one star. Overall good buy!

Quality Is Very Hit or Miss
I love Chalkovsky's hand-sawn chalk sticks, which I've never had a problem with, and usually buy those, but they've been sold out lately. So I've been buying their chalk chunks instead. And these chunks seem *much* more variable in quality. Often a bit grittier, but usually several hours to a few days under a fan and they're fine. But this latest bag has a terrible chemical taste like something was spilled on it even airing out. It's mostly inedible. I have the feeling they're having a supply chain and consequently quality issue with these. I'll stick to my usual from now on.

Nice to curb my cravings, but inconsistent
I developed a craving for chalk at 9 months pregnant, so I decided to try this product. My first bag was great. I loved the taste and the crunch. My second bag (which I just received) had a different taste than the first bag. It’s not a bad taste, but it is noticeably different. Note: This is chalk. It is NOT candy and therefore not meant to be sweet or anything of that nature. I see a lot of people complaining about it tasting like chalk in the reviews.

Not good!!!
The texture was a grainy texture(no crunch) and it had a chemical taste and it also made me sick to my stomach 🤢🤮 I was looking for more of the earthy/dirt taste I’m use to ! This just wasn’t it at all! I even tried to wet it with cold water and let it air and was still disappointed!
