Another great read from this author
What a perfect mix of all my favourite tropes in romance - we have the grouchy/sunshiney one combo, the brother’s best friend, the boss/employee close proximity. There wasn’t much else I could possibly have wanted. The book starts with a bang and a fantastic opening scene. It’s the morning after the night before, and an off page drunken hook up at a family wedding has occurred.Jude is struggling with his sister being married and off on her honeymoon experiencing her life with her husband (his best friend) without needing him. Mason (best friend’s little brother) is trying to find where he fits best in the world after many years off doing his own thing, and always being considered the irresponsible younger brother. The book moves us on from the wedding hookup to them working together after Mason talks himself in to a role as Jude’s assistant at his company. We experience the building sexual tension but also increasing respect they have for each other. We see serious hard working Mason and an incredibly sweet side of Jude.As with all books by this author there is a great supporting cast - family, friends and Edith, the honorary grandmother figure. The world of these characters seems a lovely place to live and work.I’m a big fan of Lily Morton and some of the snark between the characters at the start reminded me of some of my favourite characters of hers.Another winner from an auto buy author.

Mr Uptight
~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~This is such a fun read, with a lovely twist. Jude's sister has just married his best friend ... and he spends their wedding night with his new brother-in-law! And wow, he didn't mean to do that at all.Jude may have had a think for Mason for years, but he never intended to act on it. After this out of character start to the story, the reasons for Jude's true cautious nature are revealed to us. And as he has to cope with Mason coming to work for him, the layers get peeled away until the man is given a chance to loosen up a little.I found the growing feelings between these two men to be beautifully written. The tension stems from one truth that Mason struggles to admit to - but when the issue arises, Jude has the maturity to think hard about how he should react. This fits his nature perfectly and makes the outcome all the richer.Very enjoyable story, beautifully written.~~Wicked Reads Review Team~~

Great read
Mr. Uptight indeed. That was the perfect title for Jude, and even though it was still 100% accurate by the end, he found his match in Mason and they balanced each other perfectly. The story was great, I love a good ‘two-people-who-drive-each-other-crazy’-to-lovers story (not quite enemies, these two) and this delivered. These two needed each other and found exactly what they didn’t know they were looking for. As always with Felice Stevens’ books, the secondary characters were top notch and I’ll wait patiently for a novella featuring Edith and Warren’s escapades.

Brilliant enemies to lovers story
Wow I could not put this book down . Another brilliant book by Felice Stevens.Jude has spent his life caring for his sister and his mum that he never got to experience life growing up. He watched his best friend's ,Doug, brother , Mason, party / waste his life being given everything , with no consequence.10 years later Doug 's little brother ,Mason comes to work at their company and Jude is waiting for him to mess up, but after their hook-up at his sister and Doug's wedding, Jude can't stop having fantasies about Mason.Mason has wanted Jude since he brother first brought him home. With Mason being so free and open while Jude is closed , total opposites.Enemies to lovers . Such a great read.Is a stand-aloneI received an arc of this book for a honest reviewHighly recommended

Another Winner from Felice Stevens
Another winner from Felice Stevens which captivated me from the first page, Jude waking up hungover and in bed with Mason his best friends younger brother at the wedding of said best friend and Jude’s baby sister! This book covered lots of tropes the enemies to lovers being one of them as when Mason left 10 years ago they couldn’t stand each other although they secretly crushed on each other, then the boss and employee when Mason starts work as Jude’s assistant. Mason is all sunshine and smiles and Jude is emotionally stunted and grumpy. There were lots of obstacles for them to overcome to achieve their HEA including a jealous co-worker who tries to ruin Mason’s job and romance and a family misfortune.

The morning after the night before.
When Jude woke the morning after his sister and his best friend's wedding it took him a moment to realise that he wasn't alone, and if that wasn't bad enough it was Mason ! His best friends younger brother, who had only recently returned to the country after years working abroad. He doesn't want to talk about it and he doesn't want anybody else to know about it ! He's spent years being responsible for his family and devotes himself to his business, he can't believe it when it's suggested that Morgan comes to work for him.A great read, MM, brothers best friend/best friend's brother, opposites attract, with angst and heat, HEA.

Brilliant
This was just a great read (so great I'm still up at 1.30am because I couldn't go to sleep until I finished it). The two main characters (Mason and Jude) are just made for each other. When they sleep together the phew factor is off the chart! The author was really good at buying into the passion which is at the start of every relationship and also the gradual letting out of the crazy. I loved Edith and even (just a tiny bit) Warren and the villains added an interesting twist. Will definitely be reading more by this author.

Fine but too long
Nice enough workplace romance. Could've probably lost a lot of the dialogue in the last quarter of the book. It's about 50 pages of rehashing the same conversation. Could have easily been cut as the plot began to draaaaag. Also, the big reveal of Mason's past is very clunky and everyone finding out about their relationship is anti-climactic.
