The Opti-Men vitamins are smaller than they used to be, still have no after taste and dissolve easily. Do you need 5000% DV of thiamine? Absolutely not, even people under the most intense training don't. Let's face it, if you're taking vitamins you're probably also eating healthy as well so there is no need to get large quantities of common vitamins and minerals out of your dietary supplements. I'm not sure why no company has realised this and tailored a supplement to those who eat healthy and get their V and M from food. Especially a great company like Optimum Nutrition. The second ON makes a daily supplement chocked full of hard to get nutrients and low on the common stuff I'll be all in. With that said, this supplement is 3 tablets per serving so I simply take one a day to not overload on vitamin CC, riboflavin etc... So at least you can tailor this supplement to a healthy diet. If you're looking to take this and eat like crap and not put in your gym/training time, don't waste your time. No pill will ever help you. For those of you that do treat your body right, Optimum Nutrition is an outstanding brand that produces their own products, unlike most other supplement companies that have another manufacturing company make their product for them. This gives ON the ability to maintain quality control and ensure they are delivering an outstanding product. Which they do. Independent testing proves this. Never trust a brand that doesn't take ownership in their product by letting someone else make it for them. With that said, you're getting what you pay for here and almost more importantly you're not getting anything extra (like metal contaminants) that you're not. The ratios of the nutrients could be better, but at least they were smart enough to make it a three tablet serving. Hopefully someone at ON reads this and they make a daily supplement for people who already eat well.

Daily multi-vitamins are essential and partner perfectly with clean eating. Back in the '90s and early 2000s every guy in Golds Gym touted Opti-Men to be the very best daily multi-vitamin. If it's not broke, why fix it? Now 27 years later and Optimum Nutrition company is still in business which speaks for itself. The product changed from little daily convenience packets to this jar of loose vitamins. The quality remains consistent, per semi-annual blood tests as my source to say such a thing. Believe it or not, ON has kept the average daily price about $1 buck per day all these years which shows excellent quality control and professionally run business. Two things i've never liked but the many health benefits far outweigh the dislike of the size of these vitamins are like horse pills, and if taken on empty stomach might get niacin flush; which i've learned to enjoy. Don't be alarmed by radioactive looking bright yellow urine. It's normal. Now that i've written this long review, I realize it is the only product i've consistently purchased and used everyday for the past 27 years. Bravo to O.N.
