Yarns are too thin will not allow the crochet hook to hold the yarn, resulting in dropped stitches; Too thick a yarn will create friction that the hook will not be able to withstand and will wear out the crochet hook, causing the machine to rotate and make noise or get stuck. We recommend it for knitting small items such as children's socks, headbands, hats and scarves, not for large blankets. Frequent use of the knitting machine tends to wear out the crochet hooks and damage the tensioners. We recommend that you replace the parts regularly with the appropriate parts listed below.

The only downside is having to hold it down whilst in use as it jumps around. Very pleased with the quality of the stitches time will tell on longevity but so far so good.

Whatever yarn I use or however slow I go it misses the gears and makes a terrible grinding noise. I wish I had saved my money and got an Addi in the first place. Also can't send it make as the maufacturers are in China. If anyone knows how I can get a refund please advise.

**Q: Why is my machine jamming?  It does not jam when there is no yarn in the machine.**
A: Sent mine back did not work!

**Q: Can one flat knit on this going back and forth as you could on a hand knit circle loom?**
A: This smaller version makes only tubes. The next size up is one that will make a flat piece by going back n forth.

**Q: Can you use this machine with one hand? Want to purchase for someone who is disabled.**
A: I need two hands. One to hold the machine in place and the other to turn the crank. A knitting machine with suction cups on the bottom (which would help it stay in place without having to hold it) would be a better option for your friend.

**Q: Can you make mittens?**
A: There are you tube videos on how to make mittens with any 22 needle machine

I found I needed to attach to a surface to use, difficult due to shape of the stand. Have tried and tried to do a panel, lots of utube tutorials still no luck. Think panels are more succesful on a larger machine. Had a few months still trying to get used to it.
