Excellent TKD video
I would give this more than a 5star rating! It gives very detailed and clear instructions on performing the various TKD forms. It flows at a steady pace but slow enough to follow the moves. Excellent video and well worth the price!

A must for any level. This is TKD done right!!!!
This is a very valuable tool for any level practitioner. I am a black belt that trained under Grand Master Kang. I love this just as a refresher. I received the best training from this man. I still train every day. I am who I am in great part because of Grand Master Kang. In this video you will also see Master Bill Ma and Master David Tu. Top notch martial artists themselves. Kang System Tae Kwon Do is Kuk Mu Kwan. It is a true combative art, not a sport. It will raise you up mentally and physically. I also had the honor of training under Great Grand Master Suh Chong Kang. Buy Grand Master T Kang's Videos, visit his Studios. Take a new step toward improving your life.I write this review with all the respect and admiration in the world for my Master, Grand Master Tae Sun Kang.Thank you sir,Dave Piller

No sine wave! Thank goodness.
If you're a beginner, this DVD will help you understand and perform the forms better. If you've been practising Traditional TKD for a while and are well-versed in these forms, you will benefit immensely by trying to practice them at full power along with Grandmaster Kang at his pace. There may be a few variations from one school to the other, but overall, these forms provide a good picture. Since these forms are from the pre-sine wave era, those who use the sine wave may find the transitions and movements a bit different from that they are used to. I wanted a non-sine wave rendering of the Chang Hon forms and this is exactly it.

Incredible instructional video
I would advise anyone in the study and practise of Taekwondo to make the investment and purchase these videos. If you want the basics with the information on not only the 'how' but the 'why' then you need these Volumes. I've been involved with the study and practise of Taekwondo for over twenty six plus years, and found the Videos very precise. Grandmaster Tae Sun Kang does so well in showing the correct execution and method to the forms that you feel as if he is right next to you showing you how to perform the movements. I also enjoyed the example of the movements and how they defend-attack in the form. This enables the viewer to get a better understanding not only how to execute the movement, at the same time, how to utilize it. I will always purchase any new informational video that Grandmaster Tae Sun Kang has to offer.

Inspirational
I am an experienced martial artist but am new to the world of Taekwon-Do. I LOVE this video! Each of the patterns are demonstrated first by Grand Master Tae Sun Kang with amazing precision. His students (also black belts as well) then demonstrate the pattern in a step-by-step fashion, pausing to show the applications in defense. Grand Master narrates the steps, describing them in detail. The initial pattern performed by Grand Master Kang is what you should be striving for. It was well worth the price and I have used it several times to perfect my footwork and pick up little nuances that make the pattern look more crisp and efficient. I would highly recommend this video to adult beginners or intermediate students of Taekwon-Do.

Best Forms DVD I own
This has got to be one of the best form DVD's that I own, if not the best. Instruction is clear and concise. Those demonstrating have clean technique. The video quality is very good. Their is a pattern line or, embussen shown at the bottom of the screen during the demonstration. All in all very good DVD

I was delighted to view this as the DVD gives
Reading the other reviews, I was a little worried at first on some of them. However, I was delighted to view this as the DVD gives, first, the way to strive for; demonstrated by the master. Then, a slowed down version along with a visual description of the technique. It brought back memories of when I was fully active in the arts and my black belt testings. Great photography and angles. The reason I gave 3 stars was because of the DVD itself. During the viewing, periodically, the screen goes blank and then picks up later - for only a couple of seconds but still aggravating. It's almost like these were mass produced on produced "on demand" and no quality check. Other than that - very happy.
