Was a real hit for Christmas. Very creative item and so nicely made .So pleased with my purchase.

Gave this to my Son in law as a birthday present. He is a musician and he loved it.

Great gift

So it is paper thin plastic, but looks fine. The color options (using remote) are very good. My reason for 4 stars is the hassle it took getting it up. Two connectors on this one, both of which kept falling apart when hanging. Ended up using a wall cord mount which held them together. That was another purchase (plus a trip to Home Depot) and looked better than using tape would have. Next, (my fault), I didn't realize when ordering it takes one of those round disc type batteries and a double A. So I also had to go out and purchase those. Also has to be tweaked every couple of days as it is not accurate keeping time. Even after all that I will say it looks really good and is acceptable. Pic will be added later.

Very cool for a music themed basement.

To be honest, this was a very cool and novel idea. The whole idea of vinyl, a music theme, lights, etc. is very enticing. However, I have never in my entire 15+ years on Amazon given a rating of 1 star for any product that I can recall. But I feel the need to inform the consumers out. My reasons are below. 1. However, the plastic broke, as this clock is extremely flimsy. The plastic thiness is equivalent to a fly swatter, but brittle enough to break as it did. 2. Inside of the small ziplock bag which hold the controller, there is a statement, "Notice: The battery on the remote have been taken out" --> This is not only the exact spelling (wrong tense), but there was no battery included. So I had to get my own C2025 battery. 3. The idea may come off as a good concept for a home recording studio, but the hands tick really really loud, making it impossible to record vocals or do any streamcasting without picking it up. 4. The cord is under 5 feet. Therefore, it is not possible to hang this up at a decent height. I had to literally get a four inch high box and sit my floor surge protector on top of that to be able to hang the clock high enough to see over my 37" pc monitor. 5. Not worth the craftsmanship for $37. I literally am tossing this in the trash, and looking for other options now.

If you buy this "wall decor clock" be aware... You will get what you see in the images, but what you get is a cheap-o-depot product for sure. The "light" is just a short LED strip wrapped up and glued to the backside of the item, which is so lightweight overall it's almost impossible to get to hang "straight" on the wall because the stupid power cord (for the light) is heavier than the entire clock and is off-center in the back, which pulls the clock down on one side. I say "clock" because it has a clock face printed on the front, but the actual clock mechanism didn't even last 1 hour before dying. My wife was SO excited to get this for me @ Xmas and then SO bummed that it was a bust. Of course by the time I actually got it on the wall I had thrown away the boxes (with all the others) so I have no way to return it. And overall, it's cool enough to warrant replacing the little $2 clock mechanism so that it IS a functional clock. But as is, considering this thing cost nearly $40... uh, no way. I do not recommend buying this product. Wow - found my review still sitting here and believe it or not we got the clock working (replacement wouldn't fit) so it is at least "fully functional" now, so 3 stars
