Pure Mathematics for Beginners: A Rigorous Introduction to Logic, Set Theory, Abstract Algebra, Number Theory, Real Analysis, Topology, Complex Analysis, and Linear Algebra

I am reviewing here the print quality and not the contents. It's printed by Amazon and if you haven't seen those kind of books before - it's just a bunch of A4 cheap paper printed on cheap laser printer with toner saver enabled. The only thing in color is the cover. It is written in Word with the same Arial font everywhere.Returned right away.I am still trying to figure out how to identify books printed by Amazon in order to avoid them.

Crossing over to pure math is weird for a lay person like me, this book does an excellent job of introducing abstract concepts without to many tears.

O autor apresenta 8 áreas da Matemática Pura, com dois capítulos por área, um mais básico e outro mais avançado. Os capítulos introdutórios podem ser estudados de forma independente.

Though the description notes that it is for introductory math classes at the college level, I find the use of the terms "introductory" and "beginner" to be a bit inaccurate. You need a pretty well established understanding of mathematics going into this book, which means that it is not a beginner level introduction. I would give fewer stars out of frustration, but recognize that I am not an expert mathematician... that having been said, that's why I bought the book. I will need to study a lot more before I can follow this introduction. Buyer be warned.
