Not for thick hair
I have medium thick hair. My ponytail is 4-1/4" around and these holders would not close around it. Even if they did close, I don't think the holder would point straight out or up because the weight of the hair would pull it down. On the plus side, the holders are beautiful: the metal is shiny and an attractive color (not too gold or gaudy). Just not for me.

A cute "little" accessory
Just as advertised but too small for what I needed. I have thin long dreads down my back sooooo..... will make a great stocking stuffer I guess. Everything was packaged nice. I was expecting a gaudy flakey piece of cheap metal like plastic but that wasn't the case. The claw like clasps also seems strong and sturdy. Just as pictured. Best suited for thin ponytails like pictured on the model. To wear these I would have to part my hair down the middle with a pony on each side. Not the look that I was going for.

Fun and cute!
I need to play around with these a bit more to get the hang of them! They’re a little weird on my hair - my hair is very sleek and fine but I have A TON of it - and there are substantial gaps in the sides that it escapes through. Still cute though and I think once I get the hang of it they’ll be great!

Reminds me of the early 90s plastic cones
I really got this item ONLY because i got a flashback of my mom doing my hair as a little girl. She used to put these plastic cones on me though, bright neon colors. This is the closest i got to finding them. I ended up loving them. I like that its attached to the scruchie for added protection. Theyre pretty heavy though so i wouldn't use these on my daughter.
