Pet King Brands ZYMOX Oratene Brushless Toothpaste Gel for Dogs and Cats, 2.5oz

Using this almost daily for 3 weeks just one time a day had reduced the plaque on my biewer terrier (Yorkie) teeth by 50 percent and her gums stopped bleeding when I brush her teeth now. My other dog is a shichon and it’s helped him too. He had less plaque and no bleeding before we used the toothpaste. This is the only dog toothpaste he will allow me to use on him. I don’t think there is a taste. Neither of the dogs try to spit it out and I’m easily able to brush with it -they both prefer this toothpaste to Virbac. They have had no side effects or issues from this. If your dog isn’t in any pain and you see plaque this is worth a shot to use for a couple months before you schedule a dental cleaning. And if you are just starting out with your puppy/ dog, get this and use it regularly to prevent issues and a Vet Demtal cleaning. Update - After a few weeks of consistently using this I was able to scrape off the plaque with a dental scraper I purchased here - my Biewer Terrie. No pain and no bleeding.

Trying to brush a dogs teeth is difficult enough. It's difficult for me to get a finger in my tiny dog’s mouth to try to do any leaning. I was given a sample of this product by a friend and my dog likes it and will accept it willingly. I’ve used this product for several months now and it seems to do a very nice job and I don’t have to wrestle with my dog for her to accept it. :o)

The Pet King Brands ZYMOX Oratene Brushless Toothpaste Gel has been great for my dog’s gum health. It’s a gentle gel formula, and because it’s brushless, it’s easy to apply — especially for dogs who hate toothbrushes. My dog’s gums look noticeably better, and he seems totally fine with the taste, which makes the whole routine much easier.

I purchased this about two weeks ago to use on my 12 year old Pomeranian because I feel like I’ve tried everything at this point and I didn’t have anything to lose. To my surprise this stuff actually works!!! And quick! I’ve done this once a day for the past couple weeks-missing a few days even- and started seeing results after just a few uses. This stuff is really great because it’s a brushless formula you can just wipe over the teeth. My Pom hates toothbrushes and anything in his mouth but has gotten use to this and now doesn’t mind it. He has had one professional teeth cleaning about 4-5 years go which was the only thing that worked until I found this. I thought I was going to have to schedule him another cleaning and was worried he would lose more teeth due to the tarter build up. His bottom canine tooth had an area that was extremely dark to the point I thought his tooth had a hole in it. This gel was able to begin to remove all the staining and calcified tarter/plaque!! We have tried water additives, greenies, chew toys, toothbrushes, wipes, plaque off added to food-you name it. I’ve only ever had results with vet cleanings and this product. Buy it! Giving 4 stars because I’ve only use it for two weeks. Will update stars/photos after more progress.

I'm so happy I tried this product! My dog hates having his teeth brushed and it was always a fight. This gel made it so much easier to keep his teeth clean - and much cheaper than a vet cleaning. He seems to really like the taste too!

This was recommended to me by my vet. It helps to keep your dogs teeth healthy and takes 2 mins of time to put in dogs mouth on dogs gums. So easy, so effective. In the long run much cheaper than having to pay for a dental cleaning. I think its great and would recommend it to anyone who ask me.

I bought this with very low hopes, as any/all topical options thus far have been a waste of money for my senior chiweenie and keeping his teeth clean. He’s had 8 teeth pulled WITH daily brushing, and since we’ve added supplements to his diet which have helped, but he was still getting buildup on his back teeth and would absolutely fight to the death to stop me from giving his back teeth special attention. It’s been just around a month since I started giving this to him, not even that consistently mind you, and I happened to look at his back teeth. I’m in shock. ALL the build up is gone. Not chunks, not part of it, ALL of it. His breath has slowly been getting better, I guess that’s why! I wish I’d taken pictures of his before, just know it was bad enough I was considering a professional cleaning again. I do wipe it directly onto his gum line, which isn’t hard since he actually enjoys the taste to he takes it willingly. I’m just so shocked at how well this has worked, will absolutely be repurchasing!

My older dog has Dental issues and due to pancreatitis cannot have bones anymore. I use this on nights when I'm too tired to brush her teeth. I'm not sure it's really helpful but it feels like better than doing nothing

There's something different about the product. My dog seems to dislike it and refuses it when she would otherwise look forward to it. Upon closer inspection I noticed the smell and consistency of the product to be different from what I got from my vet. Also in the picture provided; notice the slight differences in text font. The item from Amazon has no expiration date printed. While what I got from my vet will expire in a year. My elderly dog with rotten teeth likes this gel. She is unable to have her teeth cleaned so gently applying this is enough to breakdown the tooth decay and seems to work.

Credo che riesce a risanare la cavità orale della mia gatta, se anche al inizio non sembrava gradire questo gel, adesso si è abituata più o meno, spero che il motivo non è il sapore cattivo, se anche non ho mai assaggiato.

Very good product. Generous amount. Goes on to my cat’s teeth easily.
