DURHAM'S Rock Hard Water Putty - 1lb container

Love this stuff! A friend recommended I try this to fix a couple of places on my deck railing and I am very happy with it. It is simple to use.... add the proper amount of water to the powder, mix, apply, let dry, sand if needed. It dries to a very hard consistency so I recommend that you apply it sparingly or you could spend a long time trying to sand it down. I also love the fact that unlike most paste type wood fillers or epoxies, it does not dry out and go bad in the can as long as you keep it tightly closed since it a powder and mixed with water just before use. Make sure you quickly rinse any tools you apply it with because once it dries on them it can be hard to get off, but a simple rinse with water after use takes car of this. This is a great product to keep in the shop, garage or around the house for when its needed.

This product has been around forever. I've used it for many decades, always pleased with the results.

Stay on top of it. This stuff starts to dry in just a few minutes. When hard…it really is Rock hard. Some shrinkage but it is minimal in my view. Too thick and it will crack but layering can address this just fine. Stay less than about 3/8 in thickness - my opinion. Great stuff on the whole. I use it regularly.

Had some repairs to do on some rotted wood on a 100 year old building, easy to use. Will see how it holds up during the winter. Have used in the past, worked good.

I needed a wood filler but didn't want to waste my money on wood fillers that I had already try. None of those worked for me. Once yo open them if you don't use them fairly quickly, they dry out. Not so for this wood filler. It is a powder and you mix what you need. The rest of the can never dries out.Well worth the money.

Cheap and has a variety of uses don’t spend $ on the expensive fancy marketed new products when this works just as good for a lot less and does a great job!
