The product-description is wishy-washy about the hammer-drill functionality, and none of the reviews address it directly. I don't know enough to say if this is really a hammer-drill, but for this price on a one-shot job, I'll take it. I'm upping the ratings to 4 stars. Would be more, but the documentation is obviously sorely lacking!

I was unsure if this would have the power that I hoped for, but this is a nice, powerful 20 volt screw gun! I've already used it screwing into hardwood and it works very well. I actually forgot about all the extras that you get in this deal, bonus!!I recommend purchasing!Oh, and the free shipping for prime members, it came three days early as well...

Great for smaller projects
I returned it only because it just didn't have the torque I needed for the job. It was supposed to be a cheap solution, being that I was out of town, and my DeWalts were back at the house. But, especially for the price, I was thoroughly impressed with this drill. But, when you need high torque and a 1/2" drive, you can't expect this thing to meet those needs. So, don't be a fool... Bring your tool.
