I have a basement guest bedroom with a platform bed and thought the wall behind it was a bit plain. This was a great price compared to buying a headboard. This decal really spruced up the room and people think the decal headboard is clever. Since it is a decal, it also has an optical effect that makes the room look a little bit bigger -- a nice bonus.The installation was ok, and it was my first time installing a decal like this. I recommend vacuuming/cleaning the floor in the entire room and directly below where you are installing. I also drew a very light pencil line with a level across the wall during the installation. This was a nightmare to put up, it was separated into four pieces, you have to put the transfer tape on and it ripped all along the bottom during application. The top line is barely even visible above our pillows. Would not purchase again, unfortunately this felt like a waste.

It wasn't easy to install, but I did it after 90 minutes! Several spots got torn up during the process, and it is not straight which bugs me a lot.. It will look much better if you can install it better, but this is the best for me. I wouldn't buy this for a long term use. I only needed this bed for 4 months, so it was a good inexpensive solution than buying real headboard.

Pieces didn’t seem to measure up and it wasn’t very easy to set them up to match evenly...mine ended up a tad crooked, even with using the grid

They don’t fit. It’s ridiculous the shape of the columns! They have different dimensions.Don’t buy.Look the pictures:

Difficult to install, sadly. I mistakenly thought this whole drawing of the headboard frame comes in one strip so i can just slowly stick the top and work my way down, but it comes in segments. I think unless you mark the wall, or have someone help you, its going to be uneven.

Impossible to get one straight and with no folds, and a total pain in the ass, also looks cheap and was a waste of $14

Very frustrating to install. Finished product looks ok, has a few bubbles. Generally happy with how it turned out but I almost gave up in the middle of the install. You have to install it in 4 separate segments and getting everything to line up properly is not an easy task!
