the mat smell is pretty rubbery and intense!

I'm very happy with this mat. I had bought a cheaper one that smelled awful, and got the DaZein to replace it. The seller advises that there will be a bit of a "new sneaker" smell to the mat which will wear off or you can soap it off, but I found the smell is so faint, that was not even necessary. I just put it down right away. I am using this mat both as a yoga mat for me, and as a landing pad for my dog when he jumps down off my bed. This mat would make a good alternative to pricey anti-fatigue mats, at least in a low-traffic area like a home office.

Bummed because I like the length and the thickness but it is very slippery for yoga . Not sure if it's a coating that will wear off... But it almost feels oily. Can't do downward dog, etc without slipping .

I'm new to yoga and didn't want to commit to a super expensive mat, but was concerned about slipping and thickness. My mat arrived in perfect condition, as described and I used it for the first time and was quite pleased. Thank you!

Though the mat has beautiful colors, it smells horrible. The smell makes me sick so I have to throw it away.

This mat is a quality mat and longer than those used at my yoga class. Very happy with it and love the green and black.
