Super strong clamp - I have it in the rear window over the bed in the back of our RV. It's perfect. It stays clamped there even when traveling down bumpy roads. I did use a small washcloth to hold it so it wouldn't dent my windowframe.

Like the brightness adjustments 10 levels it could be brighter for me. I don't like the blue led power indicator. I had to black it out in order to sleep lite up the whole room. I also like the 3-different light spectrums daylight is my favorite. Over all good light for the price.

These lights are highly configurable in both position and lighting (shade and intensity). I use two as I sit next to a large window on my left. I am able to balance the light on my face with one brighter than the other and vary the light color enough to compete with the sunlight on brighter days. The product has been perfect for 6 months but one of the two I purchased is starting to get a mild flicker. Otherwise, they have been perfect.

I was expecting a smaller light, but was very happy to find this exceeds anything I would have expected for the price. It’s definitely more of a desk lamp than laptop reading light. The neck is very sturdy yet still easy to move, twist, and point in any way you want and it stays put. Others I've bought for this price were difficult to place and would droop if horizontal.Another good thing about the design is that the switch is not near the light. The ones I've had with the switches near the light all stopped working after a while because the heat damaged the cheap plastic housing and glue used for the switches. I'm hoping this switch will last because it stays cool. The housing around the light feels like a sturdy aluminum, so I expect it will last a long time as well. We'll see. I'll update this if it's not as great as it seems!Another nice surprise is that the 48 lights in the ring are perfectly diffused, so it puts out a perfectly even circle of light like professional lighting for makeup and photography. The color choices are nice, and it can get very bright if needed. I wish it would get just a little bit dimmer, but the range it offers will light a tiny space discretely or brighten a while section of a room. It has ten different brightness settings, but if you hold the switch down, it dims or brightens gradually, so you can stop at exactly the right brightness for your needs. This is another really nice touch.Overall, I'm really pleased. It turned out to be the kind of light I didn't know I needed until I got it! I highly recommend it, but it's not something you'd want to attach to a laptop. It's perfect for semi-permanent placement on furniture, but not easily portability. If traveling, it's great for the hotel room, not for the plane, so put it in your suitcase, not your briefcase.
