Flush with the joys of getting a new car and looking for ways to keep it as pristine as possible for as long as possible, happened across these and the 5* reviews I'd completely agree.Nice and snug bespoke fit that adds an extra layer to avoid selling the car in the future with a worn out looking fob. It will be as good a condition as new.Main key has one and one for the Mrs who carries the spare too.Deep consistent colouration, grippy texture and doesn't add much bulk at all.Can still wedge it into my trouser front pocket watch slot.Only minor is when pushing the key back inside, just need to push a bit of silicone out the way... No biggie *at all*.Bought a black/red and pastel versions and after a few months they look the same so I'd highly recommend these, and because VW owns so many brands, they fit a lot of cars... Even my SEAT Aroma.Thanks.

This type of key cover made from soft rubber material is fundamentally flawed because the large slit needed to allow the key to rotate means the cover always ends up working loose and then leaving big gaps between the cover and the key. You can move the cover around to get it to sit snug again, but as soon as it goes back in your pocket it will move and you'll have gaps, and so less protection, again.This type of material also attracts pocket lint, so it ends up covered in dusty stuff.My goal was simply to protect the key from scratching, and in my case I have keyless entry, so a little bag may be a better bet. That would also protect the silver key loop at the top of the key which this one doesn't.

I purchased two silicone key covers from you via Amazon, one in grey and one in purple for a Golf Mk7/Seat Ibiza key.I am really disappointed in the product as both of them foul the flip out action of the key. On pressing the release button I have to adjust the skin to let the key blade flip out and it also needs adjustment to put the key away again.I am not impressed with this at all as both key covers perform the same way.

There is nothing wrong with the design. It works, is easy to fit, and does the job well. It make the key much thicker, but that is not a bad thing. The problem is that my key is a kessy key, so I don’t need the key blade. The area where the key blade has to flip out means that the silicon gapes a little. Not the fault of the product, just something you need to live with.

Great quality! Obviously as it is a cover you’ll have to press a bit harder to get at the button but you’ll get over that. Very soft perfect fit. Not sure why it’s gotten bad reviews! Arrived to Ireland the very next day at 3:45 and I ordered it the day before at around half 8. Very impressed!
