BANG HUI Home Care Grab Bar, Stainless (16 Inch)

This product was not delivered on time so I ended up finding one at Lowe's. Now that it has arrived, I am glad I did not install it. It has good reviews, but is not built and solidly as the other 16" one I bought - a few dollars more, but built much better than this one. I will keep this for future use, but it is not impressive compared to the Kohler model I purchased in its place.

Bought two of these bars. One for shower and one near toilet. They seem to be cheap. Just recently installed so can't really say much but I just hope they hold up when needed.

Bought this an Amazon Deal of the Day.The price was ok but I guess I wish I had paid a few more dollars and got a nicer one. The finish looks like chrome not stainless. (stainless to me has a blueish/ greyish tint that this does not have secondly, stainless does not usually 'polish up" as nicely as chrome which is why I believe this is just chromed steel and not stainless. The tubing on this is 1" diameter and when you compare that to models at the home store which run under $20 they are thicker at 1 1/4" or 1 3/8".My final complaint is that the edge around where it connects to the wall is very sharp. It has several irregularities that protrude and are sharp. i had to take a file and cut it down a bit to ensure no-one got pinched or scraped when using this.I consider 3 stars to be "meets expectations" I am giving this two stars because of poor build quality.

I wanted something strong and solid, but affordable. This looked good. My landlord installed it for me, and it will probably outlast the building! I feel much safer standing up taking a shower now. I recommend it.

My problem with this product is that it came without any instructions for installation on a concrete wall.

Looks great and very strong great buy for price. Helps lift 205 pound man with only use of one arm.
