Rama is an expert on the Indian marketplace
These days the world is changing ever more rapidly so this book has become a bit outdated. I am reading this book for the second time as I want to become an expert on the Indian mindset and Indian marketplace. Two very interesting topics that this book addresses very well.

Second Hand stocks received...
Since i was aware of this book, I bought some for gifting purpose and to my disappointment, i received book with poor quality of paper and printing... Moreover books look old leaving very bad impression...It seems the stocks are either old or they are re-dispatching the books returned by some else..Will recommend to buy offline / other shopping portal..

A great book to read if someone is looking for how ...
A great book to read if someone is looking for how to manage your business strategy on the basis of Indian consumer's perception. Although the book deals with the scenario present in '06, most of the views are still valid.

Valuable lessons
Is very relevant in understanding what India feels and why it does so. Would love to complement this with thoughts on how digital offerings would be accepted by the consumers

Good book for understanding the consumer mind in India but somewhat overlapping on "Winning in the Indian Market" by the same author.

A must for getting India
I lived 3 months in India, on exchange at IIM Lucknow. This book was by far one of the best documents I could read in order to understand deeply the market and consumer of the sub-continent. India is super complex and it holds that tempting prize of "reaching only 10% of its population".The biggest economy in the world its eclectic, messy, disruptive, kind, tough and crazy (in a good way). Mrs Bijapurkar wrote a tremendous document in which she lights the way for a deeper understanding, supported with good figures, graphs and deep thoughts.Loved it.

New and enlightening
It shows how attractive rural market is for a company to target. As an entrepreneur I m going to try these learnings in my company. I hope we have a big market in India untapped by many mncs that are waiting for young companies ahead.
