The picture on the ad didn't refer to depth, I assumed (inaccurately) that the item was shaped like a cup holder in cars, it was not. It is shaped like a purse makeup mirror that you fold open, not being more than 1 1/2" thick. Surprising it held a lot of quarters dimes nickels and pennies. I carry in cars small bills and change for drivethru purchases, so much easier to pay exact amount. This will work well because if fits in canvas bag I carry small change in all my vehicles and makes coins easy to retrieve. When full too heavy for pocket but would work in lady's purse if not full already.

I got this to help me keep coins organized to quickly make change. I’m a waitress so this got a lot of use. The concept is great and it keeps the coins organized well and they are held securely in the individual slots, however within a few weeks of use the hinge broke so it no longer stays closed. It is functional without the lid/being able to stay closed. It would probably last longer with lighter use, so overall not a bad product, just not cut out for heavy daily use.

This only holds $4.49, consisting of 12 quarters, 7 dimes, 13 nickles, 14 pennies. The lid makes a cracking noise every time it is opened and closed. One positive is it doesn't take up much room in a glovebox or center console.

Not at all what I thought it was. It is like a compact (make up compact) it doesn't hold that much and there should be more holders for dimes. I thought it was bigger than this and for the price not worth it.

May strike some as a bit heavy when fully loaded. However, quick and easy to slide out your change.
