Not what I was looking for
I’ve been trying to find the old fashioned licorice sticks that were the almost bitter black licorice. This is not it. Very mild taste and ok for some I’m sure.

Better than what I remembered
I've had a lot of different licorice. Some of the licorice from other countries are strange, to say the least. I guess it depends on what you're used to or what you're willing to try. I've had Danish, Dutch and Australian licorice. Some of these are at really high prices, and I wouldn't order them again. But, this is different. It's the licorice I remember from my childhood, but better. It's fresher. I will be ordering more.

Hint of cinnamon
The cinnamon twists don't much taste like cinnamon. Hint of cinnamon, if you're in to that.

These had an odd taste, but were okay.
There was an odd flavour…maybe plastic, maybe something else. The cinnamon cut through this taste at first, but when the cinnamon flavour was gone, I was left with the taste of something that I couldn’t quite identify.
