Gold Toe Men's Cotton Over-the-Calf Athletic Socks (3-Pack)

So far, so good. But I've only had them a week. I bought them because other socks would not stay up when I wore rubber boots. The lining in the boots causes my other socks to "walk down" at the heel. But these stayed up. They go well over the calf - to about half way over my knee cap, and I am 6'1". The socks are not especially soft, but that's ok for me since they are work socks. They give adequate padding without too much bulk. All in all I'm happy with them at this point. UPDATE: It is now January 2017 and the socks are just like new. I have hand washed in cold water, and air dried them all these months. No stretching or shrinkage has occurred. They still hold tight and don't fall down during wear. I purchased more so I can wear a fresh pair every day and not have to wash them so often. Great socks that I recommend highly. UPDATE: One year later, January 2018. All the original socks developed holes about an inch beyond the heels under the foot. My wife darned them, and then darned them, again. Now, she is sewing patches on them. The patched socks are still comfortable to wear. I am amazed at how thick and luxurious these socks are, except for this one spot. The elastic is still strong, also. The only reason I am keeping the holey socks is because that is the only part not good and can be patched. I just ordered some more and will wear them along with the patched socks. Wish I could find these same socks that would do a better job of holding up to wear.

He is TALL wears boots often and has REQUESTED these socks! They are long enough the actually reach his knee and stay up.

Goldtoe socks are the gold standard of socks. The fit well the Don't fall down after wearing the all day and the last a long time some time years of wear.

These are great, thick and long lasting. My husband has vericose veins and wears them to work because they cover his entire calf. They are cotton and I generally order two sets every year or two. 6 pair last well through at least a year. They cost a bit more than others shorter ones, but are good quality. He works outdoors in all kinds of weather, so they stand the roughest test.

Love these giid socks will buy more they help my feet I love the ones with open toes.
