Heard horror stories about leaks. Does it leak at bottom?

I have 80-90W Gear oil in mine and it doesn’t leak. I use it to put final drive oil into a motorcycle. I’ve had it for several months and it hasn’t leaked yet. Mine looks like a good quality product.

well.... not really sure, but it is such a good pump I'm thinking that it will push it through.
