This pedal board is an excellent product. Very sturdy with a professional appearance
This pedal board is an excellent product. Very sturdy with a professional appearance. Hats off to the guys in Barcelona, the clamps are an ingenious way to hold pedals to the board and do an excellent job holding any pedal size snugly with out the need for velcro. The clamping mechanism is much better than Velcro not only because you don't have to remove feet and put sticky adhesives on pedals/board but it simply holds the pedals much more sturdily to the board as if the pedals and the board are one piece built like a tank. The carrying bag is also very nice. The bag materials seem a little thinner than that of a pedal train but if you take care of it, it should last a long time. They sell a fitted hard case if you need heavy duty action. The bag also has a large zipped pocket to hold accessories like cables and such. I am able to fit 7 10 ft instrument cables in this, so it is big enough even for those stereo 4 cable method guys. Cables can also be stored under the unit when in the bag. I just leave them connected even when in the bag and roll them up under the unit. Some things to consider when thinking about this board: 1. When measuring for the size you need, make sure to remove 2 inches from the length of the board to get the actual working length because you will need to put the clamps at each end to hold pedals (each clamp is 1in wide). This inch wont affect pedal spacing as you would normal space pedals out about an inch to allow for patch cables, plugs. 2. There are no holes to route patch / power cables underneath the unit. At first i was concerned about this, but in the end, whether the cables are nicely routed around the pedals vs though holes underneath doesn't make a huge difference all though it may look a little cleaner. 3. You can only clamp on the sides , not top and bottom. 4. Some pedals have knobs and jacks in odd locations around the side of the pedals which may cause you to have to get creative in how you clamp them. If a pedal existed that has jacks and plugs all up and down one side of the pedal, there would be no place to clamp it, you may have to turn it 90 degrees for example. For 95% of the pedals out there, not too much "creativity" would be needed. Keep in mind however that a board like this will never be as flexible as a Velcro board because with Velcro you can stick things anywhere. If you have a lot of pedals, consider how you would set them up on this board prior to purchasing to verify it will hold them all in the configuration you want. For a lot of pedals, you may want to go with the L2. For those Fractal FX8/AX8 users, the S2 is the perfect size for the unit and one expression pedal (if you need two expression pedals get the L2). A Very Good but overlooked Pedalboard
Nice board, fits enough pedals, easy to carry and fit on a Rocknroller cart. Photo shows my board using the quick-attach fasteners. I'm adding an Arena Reverb so I've flipped the board over to use Velcro. I added a Universal Power Supply mount that fits front underside and protects my One Spot C6. Carry Bag seems weak but have used it on 15+ gigs with no issues. I cut then stuck a plank of foam inside to make a snug fit and protect the pedals during load in-out. Other accessories are available like raised platform, hard case, cable clips, etc.

Where has this been all my life?
This board is awesome, it holds your pedals stronger than any Velcro ever could, and you don't have to ruin them with messy Velcro tape. I also like the study aluminum construction and adjustable feet. The included case is pretty good too, and has plenty of room even if you have a crybaby or other large pedal on it.

Excellent quality, I like it a lot because I don't have to use velcro anymore, I hate velcro lol. All my pedals are compact. Very nice board and case too. Very recommended. 5 stars.

I love this board
I love this board. Big enough for the eight pedals my power supply can handle. Sturdy construction. Just make sure you plan out where the pedals go before you go screwing in the brackets that hold everything or you have to do it over.

No velcro!
This pedal board met all my expectations. Much prefer this system than velcro or zip ties. Came missing one of the feet and I expected to have trouble finding a replacement, but the company that sold it called me back in record time, knew exactly what I was talking about and got a replacement the next day. Great service by them.

Sturdy & Flexible
The Smart Track S2 is a knock out. Smart = fasteners, S = short (16.5 in), and 2 = deep (11.8 in). The fasteners work quite well (bye, velcro and zip ties!), and the depth accommodates volume pedals (10 in). I had to stage fastener-and-pedal placement before tightening down the fasteners. They require additional clearance. Using the soft case required experimentation; I went with raised-side down. The non-raised side flops when you carry the case, but it's not a big deal. It's satisfying to not alter your pedals to be able to mount them. When they sit on rubber feet, it's easier to tuck signal-and-power cables underneath them. Cord strain is low, and pedal mounting is tight. And the look-and-feel is outstanding.
