I usually buy the plain Jane store brand of 13 gallon trash bags for my kitchen. I mean, why spend a little more for a name brand bag when it's just going into the trash. Right? Wrong! These bags have totally changed my mind. My cheap store brand bags don't have a great fit on my standard 13 gallon trash can. The tops of the bags don't fit tightly around the top of the can. Therefore, by filling the bag, it can slide down into the can since the top isn't snug around the top of the trash can. These bags fit my trash can perfectly. When I put the bag into my kitchen trash can, I had to stretch the top to get it around the top of the can. That's perfect because heavy trash isn't going to make the top of the bag slide down into the can. But the best part of these trash bags is the scent! They smell beautiful. I have a closed plastic can in my kitchen. The bags don't make my kitchen smell like lavender or vanilla. But whenever I open the lid of my trash can, I'm greeted with the fresh smell of lavender.
