My daughter wears Stride Rite shoes ALL the time ... sturdy, practical, cute ... BUT they didn't have anything "special" for Easter. I hemmed and hawed about the price of these shoes (and I believe in good kids shoes) but goodness knows they grow fast. I just kept clicking on these shoes in the light blue and cream and finally splurged. They arrived today. My daughter promptly put them on and scurried off to play basketball in them. I had to run after her to safely put them away for Easter. They are a little big (intentionally so they will last longer) but the ankle strap keeps her foot secure.I can't buy shoes in this price range all the time. It just isn't practical. But, I only have one little girl and if you can swing it, these shoes are simply beautiful - you'll feel smart they are so well made and if you get her favorite color - well, she'll feel special too!

We love Livie and Luca shoes and these are no exception. Cute, easy to get on and off, and comfortable. This is our first pair of suede petals and they have held up well to normal toddler wear so far. My only issue is that the red color rubs off on her tights, but this isn't necessarily a product issue. I feel like most colored suede has this issue. So as long as you are aware that you might end up with red spots on tights, etc., buy these!

My dd has little biscuit feet (chubby and puffy on top) and we fought about shoes every day until I stumbled on Livies! This brand has been amazing for us. Been wearing them for a year and they are awesome. Petals run about a size bigger than say Pios or sandals. They wear well and you can resell them for a reasonable amount when your daughter outgrows them! I only buy Livies for dress and casual shoes these days!

Beautiful quality shoes but too large for my 12 month old. I'll just hang on to them until she can fit. I ordered 12-18 month but it looks like she would have fit 6-12 month better. Her feet are about a size 3 infant right now. It would have been more helpful if actual shoe sizes were listed with the "12-18" month size chart. Beautiful quality shoe just can't wear them yet.

Sigh. I love the Livie and Luca shoes however in the description it does not clarify what type of sole the shoe has. This will make a difference in the LIVIE and LUCA sizing chart. Please visit the website of Livie and Luca before ordering, especially if you have ordered their shoes in the past. I thought I had ordered the exact same thing from last year in a different size until it didn't fit. According to LIVIE and LUCA website, the sole will change the size! I ordered what is called a STRIKER sole on it last year and it runs big so I knew she was in a 12 last year, she would fit a 13 now. Nope. The sole is different making this shoe feel like a 12. (this is a TRAC sole) Now I have to return 2 pairs of shoes and search for a STRIKER sole. I will add, that if you can get the right fit for your child, you will not regret buying these shoes. The sole is rubber, almost no skid and the elementary schools love them. She can still wear them on gym days if she wanted and climb monkey bars safely. They are very durable. My first time buying was last year and when I get done, we will have owned 6 pairs of these. They are great in winter with printed warm tights, dressed up with a short laced sock or even barefoot.

Love these shoes. I buy a new pair for my daughter every spring. They are adorable and comfortable. The runner bottom prevents her from slipping. She calls them her running fancy shoes.

I love these shoes. These are the perfect first baby walking shoe. I bought these full price is every size, and these have been my babies main shoes. I have purchased in every size since. I'm not disappointed. She will pick these over other shoes and prefers them.

I love these shoes.They are so easy to get on and so far have held up well with my busy 2 year old. I get more compliments on these shoes than any other thing she wears. I was worried that the light green would get dirty or would show wear quickly, but so far after two months, they look great.
