This is effective for me for foot arch pain. If your stomach is empty you might also consider adding two ibuprofen lysine tablets because they have a very fast and high peak effect that's good to help to quickly reduce pain. If your stomach isn't empty they are the same as ordinary ibuprofen tablets so don't waste your money then.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT

I've only just started using this gel, but it seems to be helping already. It is easy to use, though it is not as gel-like as I expected and comes out of the tube quicker than I thought it would, but it does rub in well. It it works as well I hope it will, it will be good value for money.

It works well, but does seem to go off, as other reviewers have mentioned, you start to get a fishy smell from the gel about a month after the tube has been first opened. It still works, but the smell is noticeable through clothing…I’ve just ordered some Voltarol and will throw the rest away once it arrives.

best gel ive tired for lower back pain... used in conjuction with painkillers

One of the regular comments that I read referred to a ‘fishy smell’ and I found this to be true. Strangely it does’t seem to smell fishy while in the tube but it becomes noticeable when applied, both to the area concerned - and your fingers so a good hand wash after using is essential. It is still early days using it for me therefore I can’t comment on its pain reduction effectiveness. Please note, a little goes a long way so take care when squeezing the tube!
