The yarn was fine, it was nice and bright, and good colors. It is advertised as 3 weight yarn though, and it was definitely thicker than the other 3 weight sport yarn I had from the craft store. It felt closer to a 4. It worked out fine for the project I was working on though.

When ordering this I DID NOT see it said these where Mini's. Lol, BUT I'm not mad at myself for not seeing that. There's a crap ton of them and they are totally soft. For the price it's really truly worth it. Considering if these where all regular sized sheins it would be close to maybe 500$ in product. They truly are great for mini projects. Or you could just use a bunch of them and make one big project.The only hick up I had with these where all it has on the card bored holding ring, is the brand name on it. It doesn't say what size knitting needle or crochet hook you need for the yarn or each yarn.(They should all be the same size yarn, but it doesn't say if they are or not. So I don't know if they all use the same size knitting needle/crochet hook or NOT.)Now I'm sure it might say what size tools yu need in the actual "about info" on the page. BUT, these could be a gift for someone. Or anything how are they suppose to know where to find what size? I think the size crochet hook and knitting needles should start being put on the card bored band. Other than that THIS SET IS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL, the price is amazing the yarn is amazing and super super soft I was a bit shocked when I felt it actually. I DO PLAN ON ORDERING MORE!

I like this yarn better than another brand of higher rated DK yarn I bought a few days ago. The colors are shiny, which I like, and it's easier for me to work with even when it does split, the other brand I tried was a complete headache with the splitting. This yarn isn't the softest so I wouldn't use this for any kind of clothing. I use it for crochet bookmarks and amigurumi. Also, this is the second time I've I bought this brand and I got the bigger 110 yard assorted pack but at least with 4 skeins the yarn wasn't one piece and was crappily tired together about 6 feet into the skein, first time seeing this. They could have done better with that and it does get kinda fuzzy if you have to keep pulling apart your work to fix your mistakes. Overall, I'm pleased with this yarn.

I am using this on the KB looms to make hats and scarves it works wonderful for that. its a stretchy type of yarn. Soft and the strands separate easily BUT, they go back together very easy. I have not tried this with any crocheting projects yet as I bought specifically to make hats and scarves on the loom. I washed the hats on gentle cycle and cold water with some dreft baby soap and downy. then laid them flat to dry. I found no problems when complete. I love the colors they are vibrant and go together nicely in a project. For the price and the amount that you get I think it is a great bargain.

I planned on making a block with each for use in an afghan. I had hoped to buy 5 more sets. I have used 3 skeins so far and 2 of them had defective sections of yarn. The pictures show the problem.

Wife's review: I bought this for practicing crochet and I could not believe the inks came off on my mom's hands and crochet hook. That picture is after her washing her hands. They looked like she had a fight with ink printer. I would not purchase this next time.

I bought this set and had it sent ahead of me when I was traveling to see family. The colors are vibrant and the yarn was very good - no thinning or fuzziness found. The yarn have almost a springy tension to them. The "skeins" are small and will sit in your outstretched hand. I used these to make granny squares (easy to pack when going home). I don't know that the value or colors are enough to make me buy these rather than a full size skein, but for small projects on the go, can't beat it.

It's much thinner than I expected, (I used a 2.5 crochet hook, I wouldn't have use anything larger than a 3.5 and the 4 red heart yarn I have is double the thinkness) but other than that it is what they advertised. Although, a finished amigurumi looks pretty hairy due to it breaking/rolling apart constantly no matter what when crocheting. It's definitely better for small simple crafts.

Terrible product. The photo doesn’t do Justice to what you actually get. You can’t even work with the material. This product was for my daughter who was upset with the quality and her own money to buy it. When I wanted to return it, it’s not postage paid so it’ll likely cost what I paid for it to ship it back. What a scam. Please do not but it.

I found way too many joins for the price of this yarn !
