Music of Mexico for Acoustic Guitar Volume 1

One of Mel Bay's better songbooks but major portion of book is not authentic Mexican standards
First of all - I like this book. With the reservations below, it is one of Mel Bay's better ones. The recordings are beautiful and the arrangements are very playable and sound nice. Ten of the eleven songs are familiar standards.I do not regret my purchase. However, 11 pages of this 55 page book are devoted to "La Leyenda de la Llorona," an original composition by the book's author, Ruben Delgado. It is a very pretty song - but it is 20 percent of the pages with music on them. But for a book entitled "Music of Mexico" I expected all of the songs to be authentic Mexican standards. Not for 20 percent of the book devoted to a contemporary song written by a guy from Fresno.
