Cheap …but solid for the price.
This is cheap crap but is solid for the price. I ordered because it was cheap so no problem. Most importantly it shipped quickly. Too many Amazon sellers are allowed 5+ days before shipping so big thanks to this seller

Marlin 336 scope mount
Very well made scope mount. Good fit and finish. Only 2 mount screws provided, needs 4. The 2 screws provided were to long. Cut them down with file and added two more that I had on hand. I would give it 5 stars if the right amout of mount screws were provide. I don't mind cutting them to size. Should always be checked anyway.

Great Budget Mount/Rings
I have been buying Monstrum products since it began years ago. I have used their mounts, rings, scopes, and other gear. They have provided a good product at a reasonable price. And they have backed their product with great service. This Monstrum One Piece Scope Mount for Marlin 336/1894/1895 Series Lever Action Rifles | Low was a great buy. I ordered it for a 3x9x40 Sig Sauer scope to be mounted to a Henry H024 30-30. The fit and finish are perfect. Very good cheek weld due to the low height. Shipping was extremely fast, and installation was a breeze. I couldn't be happier.

Same experience as other with cheap hardware, overall a good option.
I've had great success with Monstrum scope mounts in the past. They are a good value for the money. This mount is well built and has a great finish. The small allen head screws to attach to the receiver are not the best, but do work. The heads of the screw are shallow. Be careful not to strip the tool interface or threads.The mount is very low profile. I had no clearance to keep the rear sight with a 40mm optic. I opted to use a 32mm scope instead which allowed for me to fold the rear sight instead of removing it. I wish they offered a slightly higher mount of this type. There is very little clearance for the hammer as well. But overall it works and looks great.

Wrong base screws!
The base screws need to be SAE 8-40, however received Metric base screws. Also, needs to be 4 base screws for proper installation, only received 2. I do not recommend this scope mount.
