Great, effective organic acacia powder! I put 1 tablespoon in my yogurt drinks - mixes nicely - no taste or texture noted after.

This is amazing. The probiotic fiber I have been looking for! I take it with kefir every morning. My digestion is great, my gut in doing just fine. It doesn't have any taste, and it is easy to work with.

This fiber does not cause the stomach issues that husk fiber does. And Now is a trustworthy brand so I feel comfortable getting their products more then some others.

I’ve been using this mainly for homemade ice cream, and it blended in really easily. It doesn’t have much taste and didn’t change the flavor at all, which was important for what I was making. I like that it dissolves smoothly and doesn’t get gritty or clumpy. It felt like an easy way to add a bit of fiber to recipes without affecting texture or consistency. Overall, it worked exactly how I hoped and I’d use it again for both recipes and everyday use.

I'm sure this is beneficial to take, but the powder does not mix well at all and if you add it to something like cereal, yuck! I ordered a bottle over a year ago and I have barely used it because of the nasty taste (sort of like drinking cinnamon powder in water). Going to stick with fiber pills or dissolvable fiber powder from now on. UPDATE 1/2/14 Since I have developed gastroenteritis disorder last summer, I discovered there weren't many treatments for it, until I decided to try Acacia again. This powder has indeed helped my condition about 75%! Plus, I guess it doen't taste so bad if you mix it in plain water instead of flavored drinks. Now I drink a heaping teaspoon every day and my gut feels much better. It doesn't clump as I originally thought (must have used it in other liquid). Since this is organic, it's more effective than Metamucil is. Because of these facts, I changed my rating from 1 to 4 stars. I plan to use Acacia for a long time.

I bought this thinking it would be an organic subsitute for Renew Life Fiber 35 Sprinkle acacia fiber, but really don't care for it. These are the differences as I have experienced: --Renew Life Fiber 35 Sprinkle is white whereas Now Foods Acacia Fiber is brown/tan. (This was the only point that did not bother me.) --Renew Life Fiber 35 Sprinkle has no odor. Now Foods Fiber has an almost chemical type odor to it. --Renew Life Fiber 35 Sprinkle has no flavor. I couldn't taste Now Foods Fiber in tea or coffee, but definitely had a not-so-pleasant taste in water. --Renew Life Fiber 35 Sprinkle disolves almost instantly in hot and cold, and you can't see it in water. Now Foods Fiber requires a bit of stirring to dissolve in hot beverages, and never does completely "disappear" in water. Your water will look a bit tan/brown. This may not bother you at home, but it does look like you are drinking dirty water, so you may not want to do this in public. --At the risk of sounding indiscreet, Renew Life Fiber 35 Sprinkle did "the job" nicely bulking up what it needed to bulk up, and everything came out smoothly. The Now Acacia Fiber, well, it just seemed to scratch on the way out. In addition to the above, the Now Acacia fiber had a bit of a bizarre property, that I have not experienced before with any powder. The dry powder seemed to cling to a spoon like metal pilings do to a magnet. That is really what it looked like. It didn't matter if the spoon was metal or plastic it would just stick to the spoon when you scooped it out. Don't know if it was static electricity or what was causing it. I really don't think I will be buying this again. I liked the fact it was organic. But, it just was too unpleasant for me.
