I bought this product after a girl I work with had her lunch leak all over her bag. I've been there before and remembered how horrible it can be after she spent ages wiping it down and trying to air it out. Never again! I already owned the Black and Blum stainless steel lunchbox which is pretty leakproof by itself but worried slightly about the human error of not sealing it properly, so I bought this. Could you get something similar for cheaper? Sure, but I am happy with this. It fits the aforementioned lunchbox perfectly and then fits really nicely inside my work bag. To clean, I either wipe with a soapy sponge, rinse and air dry, or, if I can't be bothered, simply put it outside to air out. I don't really use it for its insulation as it's only ever out of the fridge for about an hour as I travel to work, but my impression is that this is not really one of its strengths. All in all, it suits my needs to a tee!

My second Black + Blum lunchbag. This one was a present and very well received. It's sturdy and can fit a surprising amount or be rolled down quite small. The insulation is not as thick as a cool bag but plenty enough without making the bag too bulky

It's a given that the lunch bag looks beautiful. However, it is not worth the price because in my opinion - the design of the clasp is flawed. You have to hold the lunch bag with the open end of the clasp facing upwards and pointing upwards and if you forget to do that, the clasp loosens and your lunch box spills its contents on the ground. You have to mindful of how you're holding the bag when you carry it around and should you cease to be mindful for any reason, the bag is liable to open up and the contents of the bag are in danger of spilling out. I tried to find a solution by attaching a key ring clasp, tying both ends of the clasp with a ribbon etc., but it irked me that after paying a premium price for the lunch bag, I would have to resort to such methods to fix the bag. The company could've easily affixed a strong clasp like a key ring clasp or something to that effect to make the lunch bag secure but they didn't. My experience has not been perfect after paying a premium price and so I've asked for a refund. On a different note, I have purchased the Black and Blum borosilicate glass lunch box and it is perfect and flawless.

la taille est parfaite car elle est adaptable. il suffit de plus ou moins rouler le système de fermeture pour s'adapter à ce que l'on veut mettre dedans. une fois le sac fermé, le système sert de poignée de transport. Les performances isothermes sont conformes à ce que l'on peut attendre de ce type de produit. la construction semble robuste.

Very well designed and durable lunch bag that fits a full lunch no matter what I’m bringing that day. It has a thin layer of insulation (although I normally put my bag in the workroom fridge) that would be enough to keep things cool in transit, but probably not all day. I was looking for a sustainable lunch bag and this one is perfect!

The product feels like it's not new, there's a scratch on the buckle.
